✨Saturday✨ We’re popping up for Palestine with some magical news! We’re collaborating with @watermelonbooks.jo to bring the first Palestinian bookstore in the United States to Holy Ground in February!!! Besides an incredible array of historical, political, and cultural books, Watermelon Books will bring authentic Palestinian hospitality and culture to the heart of Los Angeles and provide a permanent place to showcase Palestinian artisans and host arts and cultural events and gatherings.

On Saturday, you can help bring Watermelon Books LA to life by purchasing one of the books that will stock our shelves…or picking up a Watermelon Books Gift Card. Plus, you can support artisans and makers inside Palestine and from the Diaspora, plus allied artists, by picking up beautiful food & gifts from:

🍃Za’atar Kitchen — Za’atar Blends
🫒Seeds of Palestine — Olive Oil
👑Asherah Jewellry UK — Beaded Tatreez Bracelets
🍶Aromest ~~ Palestinian Ceramicist
👩🏽‍🍳Bel-Rouh Bakery ~~ Knafe’ & Vegan Baklava

Kick off your morning breakfast 🍳 with a new recipe brought to you by Za’atar Kitchen™️:

🔸Fried Eggs basted with Fire Za’atar🔸

Recipe:

Step 1️⃣: Pour 2 heaping tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Butter into a heated pan

Step 2️⃣: Crack 3 eggs (or your preferred choice) into the pan

Step 3️⃣: Add a tablespoon of Fire Za’atar (or your favorite flavor!) to the olive oil in the pan and mix in the corner

Step 4️⃣: Drizzle a spoon of the mixed oil and za’atar to each egg

Step 5️⃣: Allow to simmer and cook as preferred

Step 6️⃣: Grab a piece of bread, we recommend toasted sourdough sliced baguette, pita bread or sesame bread also known as Ka’ac to use
