I don’t make a habit of shouting out shows I can’t make but @muckandthemires are a special case. This crew from Boston is as fine a live act as I’ve seen and they’re playing Friday night with the also super boss @thezackstaticsect at the @bycseattle. Just ‘cuz I can’t make the scene this time doesn’t mean you shouldn’t. Get some (and tell me all about it the next time we cross paths). 🤘🤘🤘

Next Portland show for your old pals, US.

It’s a well-deserved lap of valor for early aughts Portland heroes Flip Tops. For anyone who remembers feeling the floor nearing collapse at Billy Ray’s or passing out in a dark corner at IC Mummy, the FTs were probably somewhere on the bill that night. If ya weren’t there (or simply don’t remember-it’s ok, we all have some brain worms from that time), here’s your chance to see em!
