Second Magnolia, this time on hot press paper with a more illustrative style. Same teacher, Anna Buchiarelli. Her teaching methods are fantastic, she has a lovely, calm voice and her lessons are packed qith a wealth of information. by @thezenintrovert

Negative Painting. Skillshare class. Teacher: Anna Bucciarelli

Negative painting technique on both hot (#1) and cold (#2) press paper. I think I like the hot press more for the detail that can be captured.

Again, Anna is a fabulous teacher and made this exercise enjoyable and easy to follow.

And just to show that I mean it when I say I'll post bad and ugly (and funny). Here is the bucktoothed blue orchid trying to eat the orange orchid. 🤦‍♀️🤭 by @thezenintrovert

IWatercolor Orchids:Beginner to Advanced Techniques. Skillshare class. Teacher: Anna Bucciarelli

I'm working towards developing my own watercolor style, but my technique is lacking. I fell in love with Anna's techniques and style. She is an amazing artist and teacher. I learned so much from this class, but mostly, I learned how far I still have to go.

I've been really bad at posting the last few years and this is me jumping back in. Please join me on my journey. I intend to post the good, the bad, AND the ugly! 😄

Painted Tile submissions for the 2024 US Revival Mural Mosiac Project. Tree of life. @globalrootsproject

My beautiful BFF and I had a wonderful day painting our submissions. The first tile is her creation, the second one is mine, and the third is a collaboration by the two of us. We are definitely going to participate in future mural projects!
