Somebody call the funk police because “At Where I At / Be Where I Be” is about to get downright GREASY. 😎✊🏾🚐

🎂 PRESALE IS OPEN — OCT 16!

Think Maze featuring Frankie Beverly meets Stevie Wonder meets Zapp & Roger… with Fender Rhodes magic, talkbox swagger, vocoder sauce, and synth bass straight from the funk kitchen. 👑🔊

☀️ Summer’s still hanging around, so we’re keeping that cookout soul on HIGH!

BUT LISTEN UP, FUNKATEERS. 👀
💿 BANDCAMP EXCLUSIVE. 🚫 NEVER ON STREAMING. 🚫 NEVER ON AN ALBUM. 🔒 THIS ONE STAYS IN THE CRATE — UNLESS YOU GET IT ON @BANDCAMP. THH70.bandcamp.com

Five more Bandcamp releases are already waiting for you, too. Go get your dig on!

After a year and a half of off-and-on work on this bad boy, it’s finally ready.✊🏾

🥳 My upcoming BANDCAMP BIRTHDAY EXCLUSIVE SINGLE “At Where I At / Be Where I Be” drops at MIDNIGHT on my birthday - Friday, October 23rd. 🎂

📌 Presale starts Friday, October 16th.

This one is an ode to some of my musical heroes - Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, Stevie Wonder, and Zapp & Roger. 👑

Jazzy funk fusion, greasy synth bass, talkbox / vocoder vibes, Fender Rhodes keys, and that summertime cookout soul feel, which is apropos since Summer seems to be holding on for dear life. 🥵🔥

Like all my other Bandcamp Exclusive Singles, this will ONLY be on @Bandcamp. Never on an album. Never on streaming. Ever.

If you missed it, I have 5 other releases still live on Bandcamp right now. Go dig.

Also available: “Almost Already Yours” EP, “THH70: REFRESHED,” “When We’re Naked,” and “(Brown Girl) Stay Close” (Demo - Free Download!))

SO EXCITED 🎉:

As many of you remember, my 19 year-old ride or die cat Tallulah passed away last December (I guess she rode and died 🤷🏻) I still miss her terribly, each and every day. 😢

Was walking by the neighborhood @Petco and when I walked in, they have all of their cats for adoption right when you walk in the door.

Something was telling me to go in, and when I did, there was a sign that the person who runs the adoption rescue was asking for volunteers to come and play with the cats, as well as feed them and clean the litter boxes. There was really no way to refuse because I know Tallulah would have wanted me to do this. 🌈

I start Monday, volunteering probably two or three times a week I mean, come on, look at these adorable faces😻. It was a no-brainer. 💯

Downtown at @ColburnSchool tonight w/ my bestie & ride or die @helene__fox to see the @CamerataPacifica orchestral performance of works by #Rachmaninoff (one of my favorite classical composers), #Chopin, and #Schubert (was so excited that they played my absolute favorite piece of his, the Piano Trio No. 1 in B-flat Major, D. 898… the performance left me speechless)…cuz culture feeds the soul! ✊🏾🎶

Our second time attending a CP production together, and not the last…🎻🎻🎹

I absolutely LOVE their concerts…highly recommended! ✔️
And Zipper Hall at the Colburn School has such great acoustics for classical music! 💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️

I wish I could’ve taken pictures and videoed some of the performance, but it would’ve been a major faux pas to do so).😢

Thanks for being my hot date, Sunshine☀️! Another fun night! Love you!! 😘 See you in a few weeks when we work together on some content creation for your biz!! 🎥👏🏻

Just had my appointment with the ophthalmologist. My pupils are dilated so I’m wearing those chic post mydriatic glasses. 😎

The good news is my retinas are perfect, maculae is perfect, optic nerves are perfect, and she said for my age, my eyes are fantastic and I have 20/20 vision in one eye, and 20/30 vision in the other. 🏆

It’s not retinal detachment, but it is migraine-related and a retinal migraine.

She said based on the symptoms, paired with stress level, not to mention the heatwave that has been going on in Los Angeles, it created a perfect storm, which is the cause of my intermittent blindness.

She basically said I need to try to destress…yeah…good luck with that one, Doc! 🤣🤣

But, all in all, it’s great news and hopefully it won’t last too much longer. Thank you to everybody for their messages of care and concern, it means the world to me. 💯🥰

So, I should be OK soon enough. ❤️ taken in Beverly Hills, California by @thh70

#LATechWeek DAY 2:

another nice private event from @HSBC at @JonathanClub at the beach 🌊 for a panel and schmoozefest with co-founder & CEO of #NorthwoodSpace 🚀, #BridgitMendler…

really interesting discussion, and got to meet Bridgit, who is positively enchanting. 💯

Was really fortunate to be here, only 80 people in the tech and banking industries were invited 😱

A cool panel, & then some booze & charcuterie on the beach. Definitely didn’t suck. 🥓🍖🍷🍹🍸
