Excerpts from our live performance at the archaeological museum of Tarquinia, Italy, July 13, for @euterpe_school of ArcheoMusic 2025, as part of the @paesaggidellarte festival. We were happy to perform surviving ancient Greek music, some of our own melodizations of ancient poetry, and our own original music and song.

Many thanks to Emiliano li Castro, Placido Scardina, @elisaanzellotti and everyone involved in this wonderful project. ✨

Singing an example of Sapphic poetry for the @euterpe_school of ArcheoMusic in Tarquinia, Italy. Set to melody based on metre and accentuation.

(stars around the fair moon,
ever they hide their radiant face
whenever full she brightly shines
<over all> the earth
...silver)
