Thank you for the most incredible 4 years of my life. I truly never would have thought my business would have grown into what it is today when I started. ⁣⁣

This month, on January 18 at @hautesweetspatisserie Lake Highlands will be my last pick up orders for the foreseeable future. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I will still be doing pop ups events when the opportunities arise and am more than happy to still do catering orders and private dinners/lessons for you all when asked. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
So though you will see me less, I’ll still be around! ❤️ I’m so grateful for each and every one of you and am saddened to have to make this decision, but it’s what’s right for me and the future of my business for now. Surprise!! Tomorrow I will be popping up @operationkindness for the Paws & Celebrate 50th Anniversary Festival! 🎉

For those that don’t know, my full time job is at Operation Kindness! I have been here for 4 years now and it has become such a big part of me. Animal welfare is such a passion of mine and I love knowing that everyday I’m working we’re helping to give animals a new beginning!

The Paws & Celebrate 50th Anniversary Festival is in celebration of our 50th anniversary and supporting our fundraising goal for North Texas Giving Day.

💕WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY MARKET💕

This is hands down my favorite market to do! The vibes. The community. The inclusivity. It all makes for the most incredible day!

I’m bringing you Thum Khaopod (Thai corn salad) think, Som Tum (papaya salad) but with sweet grilled corn instead! One of my favorite dishes to eat all year round, but especially when it’s warm out!

Fish sauce wings, tofu Laab and of course my famous Thai grilled pork make for the perfect pairing. Get one or all for the perfect Thai market lunch!

I can’t wait to see you at @chimlanh this Saturday, 3/21 from 11am-3pm!

Featured Chef — Sara Hangtagool 🧑‍🍳

We’re so excited to introduce Sara as our featured chef for our December 13th dinner tomorrow night. Sara is the founder of Thid Jai, which loosely translates to “stuck on your heart,” and her work centers on sharing Thai culture through food.

Sara didn’t originally set out to sell food, but through pop-ups and community gatherings, she found something bigger: a way to tell stories of family, history, and perseverance through Thai cuisine. Her cooking is deeply personal, inspired by her mother’s recipes and the dishes she grew up eating.

For Sara, food isn’t just about flavor—it’s memory, identity, and connection. Every dish is an invitation into her culture and her childhood.

At The 5 Club, our mission is rooted in community-building—bringing people together through food, art, and conversation—and Sara’s approach aligns so naturally with that. Tomorrow night isn’t just about eating something delicious; it’s about connection, history, and sharing space together. We’re incredibly grateful to have Sara cooking for us.

Food is not a privilege. Food is a basic human right and no one should be without it.

So many families are worried about how to put food on their tables right now. As much as I wish I could feed them all myself, I know that there are resources out there that we can amplify to help.

I’ve sold out of my original round of Thai Thanksgiving Family Meals, but am opening up 3 more spots for all the proceeds of those to be donated to the @northtexasfoodbank

If you are not interested in a family meal but still would like the opportunity to donate to the collective amount, any amount donated can be used at a future date on a Thid Jai order. Whether it’s a pick up, pop up, catering, you name it.

You can know that the meal you get to enjoy was also able to pay it forward to those in need as well. ❤️

My Thai inspired Thanksgiving family meal comes with everything you need to feed 4-6 people delivered right to you.

Everything we all know and love about Thanksgiving food but with Thai flavors! ⁣

A scratch made stuffing full of aromatic Thai herbs (Makrut leaves, galangal, lemongrass), paired with garlic mashed potatoes, charred baby broccoli that’s lightly tossed in my homemade chili oil and beautiful Thai bbq grilled chicken that’s full of the Thai holy trinity (cilantro root, garlic, white pepper). My gravy is made from the marinade and drippings that the chicken was cooked in so it’s FULLLL of depth and umami flavor. ⁣
