How are you all doing today? by @thierry_uk
Giving children tasks and chores may seem like just a way to keep them busy, but it’s actually a powerful way to build life skills and independence. When kids help around the house, they develop a sense of responsibility, learn the value of teamwork, and gain confidence as they see their contributions making a difference. Chores also teach time management and problem-solving skills—whether it’s learning to fold laundry or figure out how to set the table just right. Plus, when kids have tasks to focus on, they’re less likely to develop an “entitlement mentality” and more likely to appreciate the effort that goes into daily life. So stop rescuing your children whenever they feel stuck. The only thing you are doing is rescuing your own self-esteem.
