It all started at @basementloftstudios , when I was noodling on my weirdly tuned guitar and @metty.xoxo said, she had this line, she wanted to turn into a song. „I‘ve got too much to fall for, too much affection“. The line also resonated with me and so we turned it into a full song that day. This was waaaaay toooo long ago tho, but somehow the song had a place in my heart all this time and kept coming back up. A few weeks ago I decided that it was finally time to produce it properly and here it is. A song about feeling overwhelmed and too much and alive all at the same time. I hope you like it and that it resonates with you as much as it did with me the day we wrote it. ✨🫶 taken in BasementLoft Studios by @thies.engel

Haven‘t been able to get „Crooked the Road“ by @monroviaboy out of my head these past days, so I guess it‘ll just stay there.🫶✨ taken in Frankfurt, Germany by @thies.engel
