අඳුරේ ජීවත් වන පවුලක බලාපොරොත්තුව | A Family’s Hope for Light

විදුලිය ලබාගැනීමට අවස්ථා කිහිපයකදීම උත්සාහ කළත්, අදටත් මේ පවුලට විදුලිය ලැබී නැහැ. දේශපාලකයන් වරින් වර පැමිණ විවිධ පොරොන්දු ලබා දුන්නත්, ඒ පොරොන්දු තවමත් ඉටු වී නැහැ.

ඒ පොරොන්දු ඉටුවන දිනයක් බලාපොරොත්තුවෙන්, අදටත් මේ පවුල කුප්පි ලාම්පුවේ පුංචි එළියෙන් ජීවිතය ගෙවනවා. පාසල් යන මේ දරුවාගේ බලාපොරොත්තු ඉටු කරන්නත්, ඔවුන්ගේ ජීවිතයට ආලෝකයක් ගෙන එන්නත් මේ පවුලට විදුලිය ලබා දීම අත්‍යවශ්‍යයි.

මේ එක් පවුලක කතාවක් පමණක් නොවෙයි. අදටත් විදුලි ආලෝකය නොමැතිව ජීවත් වන ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ තවත් පවුල්වල කතාවයි.

මේ පවුලටත් ආලෝකය උදා වන දිනයක් ඉක්මනින් උදා වේවා! ❤️

Despite making several attempts to obtain electricity, this family is still living without it. Politicians have visited them from time to time, making promises that have yet to be fulfilled.

While waiting for those promises to become reality, the family continues to live by the dim light of a kerosene lamp. Providing electricity is essential not only to make their daily lives easier but also to help the school-going child pursue their hopes and dreams.

This is not just the story of one family. It is also the story of other families in Sri Lanka who continue to live without electricity.
