~RETROSPECTICUS~ In 2019 I fumbled my way into making comics and zines through collage experiments with a scanner. Finding a new creative process to get stories and art out really helped me work through paranoia, depression and anxiety through the lockdown. Since then I’ve self published 9 of these things, some of them poetry books, others funny books, and a few mini zines with posters inside. I really enjoy the process of making them… the process of using instagram to promote them though… not so much, but here we are! The ones marked with 💋are previously unpublished. DM if you want any of these though, all are available except the very first 2. Six bux for regular size, $3 for mini. I got a long stapler for Christmas, so any new editions are going to be stapled instead of hand bound from now on. From oldest to newest: ~Flight of the Chrizmaz Witch (a story of yuletide miracles) ~Inside (paranoid pandemic postulations) ~smile (a plastic bag tries to put on a happy face) ~static & flux (mini zines with fold out posters) ~Elfs and You💋 (Elf propaganda pamphlet) ~Spiders💋 (weirdo poetry zine -the print quality kind of sucks on this one until I get new toner and print more, so $4) ~Doomscroll (another weirdo poetry zine. Happiest with how this one turned out!) ~The Good News💋(biblical propaganda pamphlet mini zine with fold out poster) So far I’m working on two new comics for 2023, and a short story that’s more like a novella.
