“With “EVERPRESENCE,” BUTCHIE delivers a confident synth-pop project that stands out among the year’s releases. The album pairs accessible, melodic moments with experimental electronic textures, offering elements that may appeal to dedicated synth-pop listeners as well as more casual audiences. Balancing accessibility with experimentation can be difficult, and BUTCHIE handles that tension with confidence and musical skill.” – JASON PHILLIPS ROLLING STONE UK

The editorial staff did a great job in writing a summary for my first music video! Thank you!

“GASLIGHT is a song about ‘gaslighting’ as a social phenomenon, with neon references and sometimes ironic dancing to hint at how little serious criticism this behavior receives in personal and public interactions. Spinning singer, spinning graphics was all shot in real-time on a LED lined studio.”

Nice night of gallery hopping last night. I got to meet the artist of these amazing oils – Buddhist stories in a Christian visual context. The Artist is a monk in Kagoshima!

Ever wonder what our digital world would look like without the pioneering contributions of LGBTQ+ innovators?

From the mathematical framework of all modern software and AI established by Alan Turing, to the microchip design (VLSI) by Lynn Conway and the ARM architecture powering over 95% of today’s smartphones by Sophie Wilson, these pioneers built the very infrastructure of our daily lives. Add in Mary Ann Horton enabling email file sharing and Christopher Strachey and Peter Landin shaping programming languages, and it is clear: our entire technological timeline would have been set back by decades or not have happened at all.

Alan Turing (Gay): Laid the mathematical groundwork for general-purpose computers and artificial intelligence. He was murdered by the UK Government for the ‘crime’ of being gay. Everyone needs to learn from this dark history.

Lynn Conway & Sophie Wilson (Transgender women): Revolutionized microchip design and mobile processing, with architectures that now power over 95% of all smartphones globally.

Mary Ann Horton (Transgender woman): Engineered early file-transfer tools that made modern email attachments and media sharing possible.

Christopher Strachey (Gay) & Peter Landin (Bisexual): Pioneered programming language design and the theoretical foundations for software execution.
