On my way to work, I came across a little piece of nature’s magic. 🐝

A whole swarm of bees had gathered — and for a moment, they formed something that looked almost like a heart. ❤️

Just a small, buzzing moment on the way to work. Sometimes, that’s all it takes to make a day a little brighter.

I just had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful place!

It truly feels like time has stood still here; I was completely captivated by the historical charm and the soul that lives within every wall. If you’re looking for an authentic atmosphere and unique details, this is an absolute gem you need to experience.

I loved how they’ve managed to preserve all the original character. It feels so much more like an experience than just a place to sleep.

**A quick note for your visit:**
Since the hotel is a protected heritage site and has kept its original architecture, it hasn't been possible to renovate for universal accessibility. Due to this preservation status, the hotel is unfortunately not suitable for those with limited mobility.

I’m already dreaming of going back!

Amsterdam just hits differently when spring finally wakes up. 🌷

It’s easy to dismiss this city as one big backdrop for bachelor parties and neon lights, but if that’s all you see, you’re missing its heartbeat. While the crowds are stuck in the same three streets of the Red Light District, you’ll find me along the quiet canals of Jordaan or Prinsengracht in that golden morning light.

There’s something truly magical about how those leaning 17th-century facades reflect in the water as tulips begin to bloom along the railings.

Amsterdam is so much more than the clichés:

 * It’s the scent of fresh stroopwafels at a local street market.

 * It’s the hidden courtyards (hofjes) where the city noise completely vanishes.

 * It’s the curated vintage finds in De Negen Straatjes (The 9 Streets).

 * And most importantly: The real "gezelligheid"—that unique Dutch coziness you only find at a canal-side "brown café" with a coffee in hand.

Spring here isn't just a season; it's a feeling. The air is crisp, the bike bells sound a little cheerier, and the city breathes in a way it doesn't during the summer rush.

Do yourself a favor: ditch the tourist map, rent a bike, and let the canals guide you. Amsterdam shines brightest in the tiny details.

Want to know my top 3 hidden gems in the city? Drop a 🌷 in the comments and I’ll slide into your DMs with the list!

Airlines often classify January snowfall as "unforeseen circumstances" or "extraordinary circumstances" to legally exempt themselves from paying financial compensation under regulations like EU 261. While snow is statistically predictable in winter, carriers argue that specific, severe storms create safety hazards—such as icing or zero visibility—that fall outside their inherent operational control. This classification is frequently bolstered when Air Traffic Control (ATC) mandates reduced flight flows or airport authorities close runways for clearing, shifting the legal responsibility away from the airline.

However, many consumer advocates and courts increasingly challenge this, arguing that typical winter weather is a normal part of aviation and should be anticipated through proper staffing and equipment.

After a night of heavy rain, the sun came out and transformed our local forest into a sparkling wonderland. Every leaf and needle is dripping, the mud is glistening, and the air is so fresh and clean. The new, earthy scent is incredible. So grateful for this moment of peace and natural beauty. Magical morning in the woods!
