Wavy turbans are more common in California but they were an exciting find for this East Coast girl!

🚨 Rare Shell Alert 🚨

𝔸𝕥𝕝𝕒𝕟𝕥𝕚𝕔 𝔾𝕖𝕠𝕕𝕦𝕔𝕜
Unlike the pacific geoduck, this is a rare species that was thought to be extinct until the 1960s. They live up to 50m deep and burrow several feet in the ground so these shells rarely wash up on the beach.
