#throwbackthursday

I forgot specifically how this night came to be in the first place but I do remember me and the homie @frankieshorrors heading down to Coney Island to catch the gentlemen in The Judas Syndrome. The reason for the trip down was conduct a small interview to promote an upcoming @BronxUnderground show for mid-September 2009. At that point, they were already making their rounds in the local scene and playing shows but that night specifically, they were playing a show in Coney Island at a venue in the area; which is gone I’m assuming. After that night, we were hoping to do more of these small BXUG interviews to promote the shows but never got the chance to but this one in particular is always a classic, to me, and I always come back to watch every now and again so enjoy! #bronxunderground #thejudassyndrome #interview #bronxscenehistory by @thinkagainnyc

BXHC THROWBACK THURSDAY!!
(The first of many to come in the future)

Out of the ashes of the mighty Irate and the BX melodic metal titans Afflitus, came The Judas Syndrome. With their blend of heavy thrash metal and hardcore, The Judas Syndrome ripped all throughout the 5 boroughs and the Tri-State area over the time that they were a band. Maybe we’ll see “Underneath Blood Skies”, their one and only full length album released in 2010, see the light of day on streaming services or on Bandcamp. For now, enjoy this classic BXHC throwback in form of the music video for the single “Death of the Soul” off of the album! TJS Forever!

The Judas Syndrome - “Death of the Soul”
Directed and produced by Frankie Nasso and Dallas Coyle

I’ve always love DAIM for revolutionizing the entire graff game. I was curious if the magical internet machine could take one of my outlines and reimagine it. Here’s both. #graffiti #graffitiart #quote #spraycanart #truth #love #streetartny #life #nofilter #oblivion #streetartnyc #ThinkAgain #graffitiartist #graffitilife #beautiful #amazing #queens #graffitistyle #fightclub #instacool #graffitiartists #art #swag by @thinkagainnyc

Planning for the future is a critical part of life. We all go through phases and we dedicate so much of our lives to working hard just to keep up and, hopefully, to one day be able to enjoy having free time. I'm super guilty of putting too much time worried about "how will I grow old, how will I live then, I hope medicine and science can prolong this life." But, in truth, instead of worrying about our future quality of life, we need to worry about our present quality of life.....or more simply....a dedication to living happy and healthy today......#graffiti #graffitiart #quote #spraycanart #truth #love #streetartny #life #nofilter #oblivion #streetartnyc #ThinkAgain #graffitiartist #graffitilife #beautiful #amazing #queens #graffitistyle #fightclub #instacool #graffitiartists #art #swag by @thinkagainnyc
