Three questions that define story structure:

What does your protagonist want? Not what they need — what they actively pursue.

What prevents them from getting it? External obstacles create plot. Internal obstacles create character. Great stories contain both.

How do they change in the attempt? Transformation is the point. If your protagonist exits unchanged, you have written a chronicle, not a story.

Every beat in your structure should serve one of these three functions.

Structure is not formula — it is intentionality.

Creative work does not wait for connectivity.

The best ideas arrive on planes. In cafes with unreliable WiFi. During power outages. In locations where internet access is a luxury, not a guarantee.

Jujukraft works offline.

Keep writing, editing, and formatting without internet. Your work saves locally and syncs automatically when you reconnect.

Your story does not wait for WiFi. Your tools should not either.

How to structure a screenplay — and how Jujukraft makes it effortless.

The Kraft
— Define your protagonist’s objective
— Map your inciting incident, turning points, midpoint, and climax
— Build 8-12 beats between major story moments
— Test every beat: does it serve the central conflict?

In Jujukraft:
— Open the Plot tab and click “Add Act” to set up your story structure
— Click “Add Beat” to map each story moment with a title and synopsis
— Drag and drop beats between acts to test different configurations
— When you are ready, switch to the Script tab and write

Architecture before execution.

How to manage screenplay feedback — and how Jujukraft makes it safe.

The craft:
— Define what kind of feedback you need before sharing
— Ask specific questions — not “what do you think?”
— Read notes in context of the scenes they reference
— Triage: implement, consider, defer, or reject

In Jujukraft:
— Before incorporating any notes, save a named version — “Pre-Producer Notes”
— Open version history from the badge button in your script editor header
— Implement feedback freely knowing your original is preserved
— Review any previous version at any point to decide what to keep

Feedback is valuable input. Not mandatory instruction.

Every screenplay exists in multiple states simultaneously.

With Jujukraft’s versioning system you can save named milestone drafts, compare any two versions side-by-side, copy a version to experiment without risk, and set any draft as your current working version.

No more Draft_FINAL_FINAL files. Just a clean, organised creative timeline.

Not file management. Creative iteration.

Fragmentation is the enemy of creative flow.

When your story structure, script, and character information exist in separate places, every switch costs you:
— Cognitive energy
— Creative momentum
— Time spent synchronising

Jujukraft integrates what has traditionally been scattered. One workspace. Everything connected.

Because connected workflow enables connected thinking.

Architecture before execution.

Great screenplays begin with intentional structure. Visual story mapping lets you see the complete narrative architecture before writing a single scene.

Test different configurations. Identify structural weaknesses. Ensure every beat serves your larger story.

When you are ready, each beat becomes a scene. Your structure does not live separately — it evolves into your script.

This is storytelling with intention.
