Youth Festival 2026 has been a journey of creativity, collaboration, passion and countless efforts.

To every artist, performer, partner, volunteer, sponsor and, most importantly, our wonderful audience - thank you for your support, encouragement and for being part of this journey.

Every contribution made this experience special, and we couldn’t have done it without you. by @thira_arts_lab

Some experiences stay with you long after the curtains close! ❤️

The Youth Festival was one such experience for me. I have attended many events in Sydney, but I honestly cannot remember experiencing something quite like this. It was such a wonderful evening of theatre, talent, creativity and emotions.

I particularly loved Marudha. What a beautiful performance by the entire cast! A special mention to @neethaageorge , who played Marudha so brilliantly. She was simply amazing❤️

I also thoroughly enjoyed Mental. Every artist brought something special to the stage, and I could genuinely feel the passion and effort behind their performances.

What impressed me even more was hearing that this was the result of almost a year’s hard work, involving over 100 artists. That is no small achievement.

I know something like this is never the effort of just one person. It takes an incredible team, countless hours of practice, sacrifices, patience and people who truly believe in what they are creating.

But I would also like to specially acknowledge @sarathsunthar , the visionary behind this wonderful initiative. I don’t know him personally, but after watching what he and his team have brought to life, I felt he truly deserved this appreciation.

To have a vision is one thing, but to bring so many talented people together and turn that vision into something so meaningful is really something special. 👏

To every single artist, organiser and person who worked behind the scenes, thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

Thank you for making us laugh, making us think, touching our emotions and, most importantly, allowing us to forget everything else for a few hours and simply enjoy the magic of theatre.

I walked in expecting an enjoyable event, but walked out with so much admiration for the talent and dedication within our community.

You have all created something truly special, and I sincerely hope we get to experience more of this in Sydney.

Kudos to the entire team! You should all be incredibly proud of what you have achieved. ❤️👏

🎭✨🎬 One year of relentless hard work, countless emotions, fun n pain behind the scenes and a journey that will stay with me forever. " YOUTH FESTIVAL" - Chest No.1 on Stage.

From the first frame of our film to the final curtain fall, this experience has been so much more than just cinema or theatre. It has been about passion, perseverance, sleepless nights, dreams, lessons in humanity, and the privilege of working alongside some truly amazing artists who brought every moment to life.

Our story may have unfolded on screen and on stage, but its truth belongs to the world outside — to a society where we all wear masks, play our assigned roles, and hide pieces of ourselves behind smiles, status, expectations, and the fear of being judged. Perhaps the greatest irony is that sometimes, it takes a stage and a story to reveal the faces we conceal in everyday life.

Because beyond the characters we portray, the applause we receive, and the masks we wear, there is a human being longing to be seen, understood, and accepted for who they truly are..

This journey reminded me that art is not merely about entertaining people .... it is about holding a mirror to society, asking uncomfortable questions, and awakening something within us that we may have forgotten.

To everyone who shared this journey with me, believed in the vision, poured their heart and soul into this creation, and made this grand finale possible — thank you for turning a year of relentless effort into a memory of a lifetime. 🙏❤️ Thank you for the love and these priceless moments.

Thank you For casting me as VYSHAK ☺️🥰

The curtains may have fallen, but the emotions, friendships, lessons, and stories will live on.

One year. One journey. Countless stories. And a thousand masks waiting to be understood.

Because sometimes, the most honest truths are spoken by the characters we play, and the most beautiful transformations happen when the masks finally come off.

Being Unapologetically myself since birth. *Mic Drop*

Youth Festival is not a one-person show.

It takes a team — our sponsors, dance partners, food partner and everyone behind the scenes.
