If you’ve ever looked in our window and wondered how on earth we got such an amazing piece of art for our space, you should know that we cheated a little bit and stole it from my dad.

Maybe i’m biased but he’s my favourite artist. He has shaped so much of what I think is beautiful and important and his studio is one of my favourite places in the world.

He is also someone who has a habit of painting over things or dismissing them as experiments or curiosities or the consequence of some existential fog that took over when he just happened to be holding a piece of charcoal, so I try to remember to take photos of the things that I find tucked in corners or hung up in the back shed.

I feel so lucky to have this artwork and this dad. by @third.person.studio
