February 2026 Club of the Month - @thirdcoastvolleyballhtx

In June 2019, Kimberlee DeMarco and Cameron Sitler sat down at Third Coast Volleyball and decided it was finally time for Houston junior athletes to have the opportunity to train in beach volleyball - and ultimately pursue College Beach. Kimberlee brought the long-established Third Coast venue - Cameron brought his extensive beach expertise as a Division I Head Beach Coach at Houston Christian University. Within months, Third Coast Juniors officially launched with a simple but powerful vision - get more athletes into the sand, develop their game, and create a pathway to compete at a national and collegiate level. From day one, the focus has been on culture and development - building great players, but even more importantly, great humans.

Now in it’s 7th season, Third Coast Juniors stands out as one of the nation’s top youth beach programs. Over 150 juniors train year-round across four Travel and Crossover Team programs, plus 100 more who choose seasonal training. Backed by a crew of 20+ experienced coaches - including two current Division I Beach coaches, former Division I Beach coaches and former athletes - the program continues to raise the bar each year. Third Coast has placed 49 athletes into collegiate beach programs, boasts three National Team players, and consistently competes deep into the gold brackets at national events. Growth has been especially strong among 8th-10th graders, allowing the club to develop younger athletes earlier and more intentionally than ever before.

Looking ahead, the momentum is strong. With expanding training, clinics, and year-round competition, Third Coast Juniors is poised for even greater impact. The club is excited to host the upcoming AVP Juniors 4-Star Texas Regionals. As the program evolves, its community remains the same - prepare and develop athletes for the next level, whatever that may look like for each individual athlete.
