The entire point of a creative director who actually helps your brand flourish is to move your brand in a direction thatā€™s DIFFERENT. That catches attention. That MOVES people. When the founder of Die Free Studios came to us she initially just wanted a brand refresh. But as we started moving through our work together, it became clear that this was a decision based on what has felt comfortable for her brand versus what she knew she really needed to embrace to go to the next level. There is a special magic that happens when two creatives are able to bring a vision to life even when it feels a little bit nerve-wracking. We pushed her on the creative direction to think bigger and really embrace her expert positioning. This meant an entire visual overhaul that was SO WORTH IT! Iā€™ve been an art director for 3 years, creative director and stylist for a year, but Iā€™ve never quite had the confidence to execute my vision behind the camera. I told my friend @jackiesterna this (wellā€¦ my real wording was ā€œIā€™m terrified to hold a camera, please teach me photographyā€) and pretty much immediately booked a ticket when she said sheā€™d be down.
