Drop-in Days are here(!) 📣

We’re starting slow and steady as we add in some open studio days to the calendar each month! 🗓️

While we would LOVE to be open all the time-many folks didn’t realize this is our passion project outside of our full-time jobs! 💻

We want to be sure we can stay consistent to limit any confusion so for now we are aiming for Fridays and Sundays as available! (And during our craft socials of course) 🧑‍🎨

We’ll be sure to update this each month so you have a good look ahead. Thanks for stopping by! We’re so glad Third Space is becoming some of your guys’ favorite place to be as well. It’s all we could have ever hoped for. 🥹 taken in Third Space Como by @thirdspacecomo

How it feels when people ask us what Third Space is. 😅

We are so overwhelmed by the support of the community and excitement surrounding this kind of endeavor. The big question is WHEN will we be OPEN?

And the answer is-very soon! 🎊
For now we are open for our ticketed events but we are working up to opening our ‘Drop-In Days’ for folks to spend more time with a self-led craft of their choice or project of their own!

With this being our passion project outside of pur respective 9-5’s, we want to make sure we can commit to a consistent schedule before putting it out there to limit confusion and make it easy to remember when we are open to stop by!

For now, keep a pulse on our socials-visit our website-and we’ll continue to host you in our amazing space for all of our craft socials!

We’ve had a lot of folks ask about private events, team building, etc and we hear ya! We’re ironing out what that might look like and will be sure to update our platforms when we have those options available. It may be later down the line as we get our feet under us.

THANK YOU for every kind word, encouragement, word of mouth and bringing your friends to our events! We are so grateful to be here.

Our first Kinusaiga workshop was this afternoon! We had a packed house and the group was phenomenal. Everyone left with a finished & framed piece of art.

Kinusaiga is a textile art form invented in the 80s by a Japanese artist named Setsu Maeno. An image is created by tucking fabric into foam one piece at a time.

We cannot wait to host this workshop again and again! We were quite surprised by how much preparation goes into gathering supplies, constructing the foam, cutting fabric and creating human made patterns. Luckily, we do all of that for you so when you arrive you are ready to start making art without any of that added stress.

Keep an eye out for upcoming workshops! We’d love to see you at our next one. 🖼️

We’re whimsy maxxing next week.

Spend a cozy couple hours decorating your very own whimsical candle tin. We’ll supply everything you need to create your wish tin! Think shiny sequins, vintage buttons, heart shaped mirrors, cute fabrics, colorful collage paper, adorable mini candles and more!

Whether you fill it with a candle for a sweet wishing ritual or use it as a magical catch-all for your tiny trinkets, you’ll take home a piece you’ll want to treasure forever.

Ages 18+

If cost is the only thing keeping you from joining us, please send us a message. We believe everyone deserves a seat at the table! taken in Third Space Como by @thirdspacecomo

Some of our favorite meetings are the ones where we run through the craft together to identify any areas of improvement.

We care deeply about folks enjoying their time in our space-so identifying any friction they might run into beforehand is crucial to a successful craft social!

…It’s also just fun to craft with your sisters. Both can be true at the same time. 😏

Tonight we prepped and ran through Kinusaiga (fabric mosaic) and it is easily one of our favorites.
