Raffles • Sunset Yoga • Porsche… does it get any better than this?! The answer is YES, when we’re gathering for a cause that matters - raising awareness about breast cancer here in Bahrain. 🩷

The Porsche Bahrain team went ALL OUT for this activation! The whole GIRL POWER crew showed up on point in various shades of rouge, and there was even a PINK 911 with its “frunk” (front trunk, for those not in the know) filled with blush roses! Pink yoga mats adorned the courtyard of NINIVE restaurant at Raffles Al Areen Palace, framed by towering palm trees… honestly, the setting couldn’t have been more perfect.

Although I haven’t practised consistently for a while, I absolutely adore yoga - especially Bikram (hot yoga) style! And with temperatures still hitting the mid-30s, let’s just say we were all getting our glow on! 🤭

Our instructor from @ufcgymbh eased us into a gentle yoga flow before kicking our butts towards the end with some more challenging poses! It was such a lighthearted class, with everyone simply doing their best, embracing the moment and having fun.

The Raffles team were, as always, incredibly welcoming, with delicious snacks and refreshments ready and waiting for us after Savasana.

There’s nothing better than catching up with friends over good food! And when it comes to dining with me, sharing is caring… whatever you order, I’m gonna try it, so don’t act new! 🤣

I love sampling a little bit of everything, mixing flavours and getting to experience more of the menu in one sitting. So, when we were craving Italian (one of my favourite cuisines, BTW ), we headed to OTTO at Hamala Hills Mall.

With its chilled, family-style vibe, we took one look at the menu written on the wall and knew we were in the right place for an Italian feast!

Being a big group, we ordered an assortment of dishes, from appetisers and salads to pizza and pasta. Everything was demolished… well, almost! The portions were so generous that we ended up taking some pizza home for later snackies. 🍕

My top picks? The meatballs and lamb orzo! Honestly, I was ready to fight my friends for the lion’s share of these two dishes. 🤣

I’ll definitely be back soon to try the new chef’s specials, which change every two weeks. Such a great way to keep your favourite neighbourhood Italian spot feeling fresh, with something new to look forward to every visit! 🍝

What’s not to love about ORLA?!

Great food, top-quality cocktails and great music — and they do it all with finesse. The energy and passion from the founders is infectious; it filters through the entire team and feeds straight into the guest experience.

I guess you can simply call it GOOD VIBES!

Whether it’s a daytime lunch, Friday brunch, evening dinner or one of their legendary special events featuring international DJs, ORLA just never misses.

We wanted a quality mid-week girls’ night, so we headed to ORLA for their Tuesday “Jazz, Grills & Martinis” — and honestly, what a vibe!

My all-time favourite cocktail is a dirty martini, with extra olives! But it has to be made properly… and yes, I’m firmly in the shaken, not stirred camp!

ORLA serves one of the best martinis on the island — now officially joint favourite with The Pelican Club, whose martini game is also STRONG! 🍸

We indulged in the Jazz Night set menu, with a choice of main course, starting with avocado & grilled bean salad, followed by a perfectly cooked ribeye, and of course a cheeky künefe to finish.

Food: 10/10
Drinks: 100/10
Service: 1000/10!

A little birthday throwback from April. 🎂🥳

As part of a month-long birthday celebration, one of my favourite gatherings was spent at @sushisambabahrain

From the vibrant atmosphere to the incredible brunch menu, every visit reminds me why it remains one of my go-to spots. The food, cocktails, music, and team are always on point.

We made the most of the day, starting with brunch before heading out onto the balcony for sunset drinks up on the 25th floor overlooking Bahrain Financial Harbour. Watching the city transform from golden hour to a sea of twinkling lights is truly something special.

To make the occasion even more memorable, we enjoyed a birthday staycation and spent the night in a beautiful luxury suite. After an afternoon of celebrating, there was nothing better than unwinding in comfort and waking up to those stunning views.

MARTINI MONDAY has officially landed at @thepelicanclubbh🍸

One of my favourite spots on Harbour Row has just given us another reason to start the week with a little shaken, stirred & stylish indulgence — with every martini just BD5!

We sampled a specially curated menu featuring classic martinis, contemporary creations and house signatures, and while there were so many tempting options, my favourites had to be the Classic Dirty Martini and the Lychee Martini — both absolutely divine!

And because no cocktail date is complete without something delicious to nibble on, we paired our drinks with some of Pelican Club’s favourites: plantain chips & guac, empanadas and Padrón peppers. The perfect little bites to enjoy while sipping our way through the menu.

And can we talk about the setting?! The warm glow of the bar, gorgeous interiors and moody aesthetic make Pelican Club the dreamiest backdrop for an evening out — and, of course, very Instagrammable.

So, if you’re looking for somewhere to ease into Monday with good drinks, great food and even better vibes, Martini Monday at The Pelican Club is calling! 🍸
