Found God again and again in Thailand.

Found Him in conversations. The people. Outside. Through the kind acts of others. Through the relationships I was able to form.

I found Him mostly with the people I got to go with. Grateful for my group and the blessings they are to me! They all taught me more than they know about who God is and how He is so present. Love these people to the moon and back.

How to elevate your temple experience…

I think going to the temple is good no matter what.

But there’s times that I don’t get much out of it.

The more I’ve paid attention to why, the more I’ve realized how often I show up rushed or distracted.

It’s just another thing to get done on my to do list.

But then I started thinking… what if I prepared for the temple the way I prepared for a big game?

Before a big game I would make sure I got plenty of sleep. And had a really good meal. And took some time to stretch. And thought about what I needed to do. And how I was going to show up.

That prep made all the difference for games.

So why wouldn’t it make a difference for the temple?

I know it won’t always work out like that. Sometimes I’ll be staggering into the temple. And sometimes I’ll go last minute. And I think that’s great.

But what if sometimes I really prepared? And I showed up fully focused. With my my mind, body, and spirit ready to connect.
