Last Mountain Ridge Cheer Banquet🖤
My three years spent cheering for mountain ridge high school are ones I will never forget. I grew so much as an athlete and as an individual.
I want to say how incredibly greatfull I am for my coaches through the years and the opportunity I’ve received from them. My coaches have pushed me, belived in me and truly shaped the person I am today.
I want to express how greatfull I am to my Parents for supporting me whether it was dance, basketball, soccer, tennis, softball, cheer or any of the other sports I’ve done throughout the years. You guys have always showed up for me and been my #1 cheerleaders!
I have a big shout out to @uxc_kory who started my love for cheer in the first place. I can confidently say I would not be where I am today without Kory and his coaching over the last four years. Words cannot express how thankful I am that I was able to cheer at UXC and grow as an athlete there. The support and belief Kory has had for me really made ALL the difference when it came to getting skills I never thought I would have and furthering my cheer career, Kory was always there for me.
If you told 14 year old me that I would end up being head captain of mountain ridge cheer I wouldn’t believe you because that was definitely not my plan going into high school. I truly believe this was gods plan for me and I’m glad it lead me to where I am today.
Again I want to say thank you to everyone who supported me to get where I am and shapes who I have become today. I also want to say thank you to the people who didn’t believe in me, told me no straight to my face and flat out rejected me. Not only did I prove them wrong but I proved to myself that anything worth doing is worth putting all your effort into and I can full heartily say that if you put the work in you can get anywhere you want to go.
