A career highlight to have conducted the incredible @metropoleorkest with the legend that is @sevwave at the opening night of the @amsterdamdanceevent at the @melkwegamsterdam

A huge thank you to the orchestra and team for having me. What an amazing operation you guys have got going on. Slick, friendly and so so pro. I really could't have asked for any more from the players, staff, tech or sound crew @dirkovereem75 and @tomgelissen even under the craziest pressure and I was so well looked after.

Another massive thank you to my brilliant arrangement team. The gig couldn't have happened without you. So, @abadviolin @magdagiannikou @tomtrappmusic @jochenneuffer and @damianopascarelli thank you all for your hard work and thanks for dealing with me being a demanding boss. haha!

Finally a huge thanks to my artistic producer on this project @fididarius months of work went into this and you were there to help every step of the way.

I made so many new friends and felt a real connection with the orchestra. I hope I can come back soon!

Casting Hexes with @metropoleorkest and @diewildejagd a few days back at @roadburnfest

This is potentially the most I’ve ever looked like a conductor. Hahhaa

Crowd control. 🎥 by @tomkirkman and @shootatnotch

Finally, i’m so incredibly proud to share this video I made with Tom. The hours that went into it is insane. But it takes a village. I have so many people to thank. Firstly to Tom and Elfin at Notch Studio who took a chance on me and blew me away with their creativity and attention to detail. Secondly to my choreographers @winonaguy and @clairsarg who facilitated my movement. After a few days with these guys I was loving dancing! A huge thanks to all my extras for turning up in the Easter rain and noodling around with me!

I hope you enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed making it. Please like and share. Full thanks below.

Thank you @eaxlr for listing 𝘾𝙄𝘼𝙉𝙄/𝙊𝙍𝙆𝙀𝙎𝙏 from @sevwave, @metropoleorkest, & @this_machine_feels_ on the ‘10 Great Ambient Albums of Summer 2026’ column for @treblezine.

“What distinguishes CIANI/ORKEST is its rejection of the retrospective impulse, as well as its commitment to an unprecedented meeting of synthesizer and orchestra as a forward-facing statement rather than a survey.”

Recently I was honoured to attend an truly memorable premier of my new work for Fanfare Orchestra, VORTEX at the @wmc_kerkrade in the Netherlands, played by the impeccable @kempenbloei_achel in a performance that won them the title of world champion fanfare orchestra for the 5th time in a row.

I couldn’t have been happier with how they played my (incredibly difficult) new piece and had the most amazing time being part of an utterly crazy month of performances that incorporated 20,000 musicians. I love my job.

Thanks you to the orchestra for trusting me and commissioning my first work for this type of ensemble and thanks to all new Belgian friends, and especially Ivan Meylemans and Bram Dalemans without whom the whole thing couldn’t have happened. Xxx

(Huge props to my homeboy @herman_sleurs on the goddamn TUBAX who is potentially the most metal wind player I’ve ever met, sorry the photo cut your head off! Haha). by @this_machine_feels_
