Bienvenue and Happy Sunday to everyone! I have recently finished this very sweet design by @jardinprivebroderie ready to “Welcome” my family home stitched with the called for DMC threads. I always love the colour pallets used by @jardinprivebroderie which are just joyful and pretty! These designs are available in both hard copy and PDF format which makes access to them easy no matter where you are in the world which I love. This one however was a hard copy version purchased many years ago together with the fabric (hence I can’t remember the name of the fabric or the count 🤣) from one of my Switzerland trips which let’s face it always turn into a chart and kit gathering expedition 🌻😊

My plans are to frame this myself in a chunky timber frame. Onto the next project!

It’s finished and framed - yay! The Garden Party SAL by @tinymodernist was such a happy piece to stitch and I can honestly say I enjoyed every moment working on this one. It is now adding a lovely happy pop of colour on my wall framed by me in a gorgeous recycled sustainable timber frame from @mulbury. Which little motif is your favourite? by @this_stitching_life

Putting together the beginnings of a colour palette for a new Embroidery Project called Golden Hills by www.canevasfolies.ch. I’m excited to combine some water colour painting with embroidery to create a gorgeous Autumn Scene inspired by the works of artist Gustav Klimt. This one’s going to be fun! Let’s see how it will unfold.

Enjoying the last calming stitches of the Garden Party SAL by @tinymodernist! I’m using an embroidery hoop with a sit on stand to hold my even weave fabric in place and at a good tension - I find I need a hoop or frame of some sort when stitching on linen or even weave. It’s also a little more restful on the hands these days!

I recently crocheted two little Amigurumi flat bears who are now patiently waiting for the day when little hands will grasp them and friends will be made 🧸💕

I used @scheepjes Catona cotton yarn which always crochets up beautifully and followed a lovely pattern by @bluesparrowhandmade called “Harry The Bear Lovey” and I think a 2.25mm hook 🧶

A little progress on this lovely embroidery journey La Maison Sew Along by @un_chat_dans_laiguille. I started this last September after I purchased the kit from @broderie_passion whilst in Switzerland … probably should have finished it by now but it hasn’t been a year yet so don’t judge me 🤣🪡🧵🌻

A New Start 🎉 I have decided after seeing so many of your lovely month markers to embark on stitching the twelve months of the year by @historicalsampler. I was going to start by stitching the current month but as you can see I am already a little behind 🤣 It was so hard to choose a designer and pattern series as there are so many wonderful designs out there. Which series are you or have you stitched - let me know in the comments as there may always be room for one more project!!! Anyway here we are and we’ll see just how many years it actually takes me to finish this project 🪡🧵🤣🌻
