This girl is just getting started! Thanks @filmfestoldenburg for honoring @therealzoebell and screening #DoubleDareMovie at your festival. Those of you who didn’t have the luxury of seeing it live there, can relive it on Amazon Prime in the US and the UK. by @thisamandamicheli

No matter Red or Blue, if you want to see change in our country PLEASE come out on Saturday to a peaceful but powerful rally near you - even if just for a quick stop in!

THIS is the part of the movie where we finally come together and take a stand in the streets. Peacefully and powerfully in solidarity for ALL Americans’ safety and the rule of law.

Please share where / when / how this is happening in your town now!

REPOSTING from Children’s Hospital - official obituary link with more pix coming in my instagram bio. ❤️‍🩹
Holding our family and yours close this Christmas Eve. 🙏🏽
**
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lyle J. Micheli, MD, director emeritus of Boston Children’s Sports Medicine Division. Dr. Micheli was a beloved colleague and a transformative figure in pediatric medicine whose visionary work fundamentally changed how we care for young athletes.

Born into a family of immigrant coal miners in Illinois, Dr. Micheli earned a National Merit Scholarship to Harvard. In 1974, having served with distinction during Vietnam, he co-founded the nation’s first sports medicine clinic dedicated exclusively to young athletes at Boston Children’s, which ultimately became the Sports Medicine Division.

Through his leadership, Dr. Micheli effectively created the field of pediatric sports medicine. He saw what others had not yet recognized: that children and adolescents are not simply small adults and require specialized care for sports injuries.

A pioneer in dance medicine, he was the Boston Ballet Company’s physician for nearly 50 years. As finish line director for the Boston Marathon, he played an essential role in the trauma response following the 2013 marathon bombing. Dr. Micheli was also an athlete: he played rugby for decades and was inducted into the Rugby Hall of Fame.

Dr. Micheli’s legacy will endure in every young athlete who receives specialized, compassionate care, in every physician trained in pediatric sports medicine, and in The Micheli Center for Sports Injury Prevention, which continues his life’s work. Our hearts are with his family, friends, and the countless lives he touched throughout his remarkable career. The family indicates that a public service will follow in 2026. In lieu of flowers, they invite donations to The Micheli Center. by @thisamandamicheli

So profound to see the new film from my former professor and forever mentor and friend Robb Moss. Well, “new” in that he’s been filming @the.bend.in.the.river for over 40 years, and I had the honor to shoot some scenes in it…over 20 years ago! (And notably, my beloved Boxer, Ruby, has several cameos 😝). The film is just hitting festivals now, but keep your eyes peeled for this gem! by @thisamandamicheli

I’m doing this storytelling event on Tuesday night beause @marccapellemusic and @blisick know I can’t ever say *no* to them, especially if it benefits local movie theaters….

But, why did I wait til midnight the night before to share this news with you??

Maybe because in this crazy feast-or-famine world, I’m actually busy this month. Or maybe because I’m hoping you already have plans and therefore won’t witness me improv-ing an attempt at rationalizing the risks and perils of independent filmmaking??

I have 19 hours to figure it out! 😬Wish me luck!!

(And no, it won’t be on the internet.)
