The end of Sandoval, my 1983 Mercedes dream car of my teenage vision. Named after Hope Sandoval of Mazzy Star on a long drive from Taos, NM.

As an era ends, within& without, personally& collectively, a new time takes shape from the chasm of what we leave behind. The falling away is required for a new dream to emerge, like an offering made from the old life in exchange for the one that is calling from some distant dimension, not yet here.

What a mysterious spaciousness that dancing with this continuum of change offers, a trust fall with the universe, an eskimo kiss with fate- the unraveling of a master plan that is ours alone.

Thank you @creativecastlecollective for teaching me the power of play and how far the imagination can take us ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

I’m still digesting all of the beauty, and especially the things I’ve learned about myself. Which is that I wanna play more w my friends and laugh under vibrant stars and pretend Saturnian time is an illusion- oh wait, it is! But I want to REMEMBER that it is. When it’s time to play I want to send the critic within me into time-out, and just really be present to the absurdity and synchronicity of life, to find every reason to laugh and be happy. (That’s an intention)

Grateful to @naomi.greene curator of the happening creative castle, and bestie/sister/angel for bringing forth the art form of play as both a healing and expressive modality. We all have a part to do in making this planet a more beautiful place to be for all beings and I trust that the ripple effect will continue on in ways we’ll never know✨ taken in South of France by @thisaquariuslife

I intended to write a birthday post, but truly all I can think about lately is how quickly a new era was ushered in after the Eaton fires. How the swirl of life cut the fabric of space and time and shot us into another reality, with haste. The wind that morning was warning us, prepare for something unusual.

Altadena… beautiful Altadena. We were lovingly held in the canyon’s arms, the Altadena house carried us, even before I lived there, into deeper friendships, and the art of happenings, the intimacy of being together in play.

And when I finally moved to Altadena a few years ago, walking to the creek to meditate in the mornings, seeing the animals at the canyon grow and change, I also grew myself into a person who picks up trash at the canyon bc of course, home. Finally, I felt the power of being responsible to a land, a real earth that made my life magical, and I wanted to be accountable for my imprint. This was one of the more poignant moments bc up until then I’d lived in a series of cities: Oakland, San Francisco, Brooklyn- Los Angeles was my gateway to Altadena. The concrete disconnection of the earth had been standard for me, trash everywhere, I barely noticed.

I will forever cherish our women’s fire councils in my backyard. Our bear friend who walked through our streets (every other Monday?) Watching the baby ducks grow up last year. Morning coffee talks with Nicky. All the trees but especially the tree that I woke up to outside my window. Miya Thai. Millard falls. The coyote smiling at me from my front yard. All the animal medicine. The creek, skinny dipping in the early mornings before hikers got there. I learned so much from sitting on the rocks listening to the water and to my heart.

Our house is still there. Will we live in it again? Seems a lot to be done before then. Time and especially money.

God is change. I’ve heard us quote this more than ever these days. It’s the promise we can assure ourselves. The meditation of all meditations, watching ourselves move through that which we cannot control and deciding to let go as softly and with all the grace that we can possibly conjure.

I invite you to listen with your entire body, as if you have ears in your hands and your feet. We honor these powerful days with deep reverence of the actual energy portals that we can move through to activate our Spirits with new consciousness.

I will guide you into a deep relaxed state through yoga nidra and hands on acupressure to reset your nervous system, one of my favorite things to do :)

Summer Solstice this year was exquisite! There is an immense pleasure in curating these events with the joy of collaboration that makes for the essential ´happening’- a constellation of time and space that is unique every time, but always with the breath of some mysterious magic.
