Went to Pizzo for the Tartufo and stayed for its charm ✨⭐️🌟🌼

Tartufo di Pizzo was my favorite dessert of our entire 2 week trip to Italy 🍨 Stopping in to @gelateriaercole_pizzo to try it is a must 🇮🇹

Pizzo’s churches, beaches, and beautiful alleys snuck up on us. A perfect day trip in the Calabria region.

Left my heart in Tropea 💛🧡❤️💙💚

Tropea is the most charming little Italian town to slow down and enjoy the bluest waters.

We found it rare to find other U.S. citizens there and that was the appeal! It felt like we were vacationing where the Italians vacation. 🌞

A perfect beach town where you’re truly on Italian time—absolutely nothing and no one is in a rush.

📍 Terrace of Infinity in Villa Cimbrone, Ravello

If I were heading back to the Amalfi Coast, I would add Ravello and this view to my itinerary every time 💙

Villa Cimbrone is a private 5-star hotel but the gardens are open to the public from 9 am-sunset.

Ticket price is €10 to visit the gardens and the Terrazza dell’Infinito (Terrace of Infinity).

Getting there right when they opened allowed us to get great photos and videos without the crowds!

Day 3 Florence, Italy itinerary 🇮🇹 (and surrounding areas)

How we spent our day last day in Florence:

🍷 Our morning started with a small group, 6-hour wine safari. We visited the beautiful @poggiotorselli and a local wine club that had the BEST lunch

🚘 We were back in Florence around 2:30 for some more sightseeing for our last night

🧀 Saw the Palazzo Pitti, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Repubblica, and more

🍕 Dinner at Giovanni Santarpia for our favorite pizza in Florence

Day 2 in Florence, Italy 🇮🇹

A day with no plans turned into one of the best 🌞

🖤 Morning spent shopping at @bottegadelgiglio and @calzoleria_toscana_shoes for the highest quality leather products

Both Jake and I left for our Italy trip knowing we wanted to invest in some high-quality leather pieces, and we’re so happy with what we each got! I will be buried with my Bottega del Giglio bag (lol)

🍝 Lunch reservations at @lagiostrafirenze — lived up to our expectations and worth a reservation!

🍨 Early afternoon affogato @vivoli_il_gelato — so good and bonus points for the vegan option

🍹 Aperitivo @serretorrigiani, a secret garden in the heart of Florence, and well worth wandering into

🍕 For dinner & drinks we wandered and found some gluten free pizza. Of course we had to end the night at @daunbailoirishpub to reminisce on my study abroad days. The owner and bartenders here are truly so kind and it was so fun to try and find where I left my signed dollar bill 8 years ago!

Florence forever has my heart ♥️

On Italian time 🍷

Day 1 in Florence was spent eating & drinking the Italian way.

🍹Aperitivo at View on Art (a rooftop bar with a stunning view of the Duomo)

👟Wandering the Florence streets to see all the architecture, piazzas, statues, and shops

🎶Piazzale Michelangelo after dark for one of the best views of the city and to listen to live music

🍝 Dinner at La Loggia del Piazzale Michelangelo

It’s spooky season at @theeloiseasylum (hosted) 👻

Grab your friends and head over to Westland for the best haunted experience I’ve ever been to!

The history of Eloise Asylum combined with passionate scare actors and intricate effects had us spooked 🎃

The proof: My husband actually jumped at one point, and, after nearly 10 years together, I’ve never seen him do that in a haunted house!
