My Persimmon Hot Sauce***
Garnishing fried chicken with a warming quince jam

•We find ways to persevere
Whether in our resistance to the norms of life
Or solely in one’s craft(s)

Learning to pivot has never been unfamiliar to me
It’s how i relish in subcultures and nuance.
Having to mold and remold throughout time
Whether with or without guidance
Life offers so many challenges
Its only worth it if we find ways to create remarkable life
Against those difficulties by art

Like this hot sauce. In it’s third and almost fourth journey
Trials and edits, notes and lessons.

Sleeping and dreaming of how to near perfection.
Because perfection isn’t always holding empathy towards you. And how to please one’s palette.•

Expect to see this extraordinary and electrically satisfying bliss in bottles, on shelves by 2027

Grateful for the support🧡 by @thisferalsorrow

Last week and a half i’ve been blessed the spirit and energy to travel coast to coast to see loved ones, some i haven’t seen for almost a quarter century. Friends and family who i would never look back on and say otherwise. I am grateful to witness the luxuries and acknowledge my privileges throughout these times away from the day to day.

Thank You to my homes in Los Angeles, New Hampshire, Bay Area and for art, food, punk music, and culture in this timeline, past and beyond the planes of time.

Befores, afters and in-betweens of pastry and cakes made over the years with including records of those very dear to me, some who have left this astral plane, continue to help keep the coals of inspiration hot moving forward.

I’m taking more commissions for cakes and such in the months of july and august as well as any private catering needs as i depart for the Motherland, Al Shams in September
To make preparations to begin slowly opening my business, “Ablah’s House”, Early Summer 2027

Please share and DM me with requests. Noosheh Jan 🌹 by @thisferalsorrow

Sitti Ablah’s struggles were always there before she had to leave her home. The wonder and thoughts remain dormant yet capitalizing of the wandering through the seasons. We fold and knead, we mend our i’s to the t’s if it were cross stitching whilst the rest of us are only but scattered dreams. by @thisferalsorrow
