THIS GUY KIRK SPRING 26 LOOKBOOK NO. 4 Spring and summer style doesn’t have to mean loud pastels and tacky Hawaiian shirts. Embrace the simple patterns, faded colors, wrinkled linens, stained whites, and wearing shoes without socks. Whether you’re headed to the farmers market, being a tourist in a new country, or mixing cocktails for a summer soirée, I hope you can find a little bit of inspiration from these nine looks! For those new to this series, this is not sponsored. This personal project usually takes a couple days of my life between planning looks, setup, shooting, breaking down, editing, etc. This comes straight from a place of passion. All of these pieces of clothing are a mix of vintage and new from my personal wardrobe that I purchased myself or friends from these brands generously gifted to me. Earlier this year, @paul_fredrick asked my brother @chamberszac and me to collaborate on launching their 40th anniversary Made in America collection. We’ve spent the last several years shooting their lookbooks and campaigns, so our answer was an easy yes. For my part, they tasked me with directing, producing, and photographing the campaign from start to finish: from the brand shoot to the factory process in Rochester, NY, and all the details in between. I’ve worked in each of these roles before, but this is the first time a brand has sought me out for my style and trusted me completely to tell the visual story of an entire collection. It’s a huge honor, and I’m beyond grateful. The Made in America collection launches October 1st in New York City, where I’ll be showing 6 large-format prints alongside 4 paintings and 2 textile works by Zac. Can’t wait to show you! Thank you @carllsullivan and @jehauser for this incredible opportunity and for supporting my vision for this launch.
