Originally exhibited at AGI Congress 2025 as a series of limited-edition Marou chocolate wrappers, these framed works celebrate the breadth of contemporary graphic design through 100 unique interpretations by AGI members.

The artworks are now available through a charity auction, running until June 28, with all proceeds supporting children's education through @saigonchildren

AGI headed for Southeast Asia for the first time in 2025, and the visual identity came along for the ride.

Created by @base_design Saigon and @thisis.rice for @agi_open, the identity for AGI's 2025 ĐÂY was designed to reflect the organisation's global community while bringing a distinctly Southeast Asian perspective to the table. The result connected designers, cultures and ideas through a visual language rooted in the location of the event itself. The work went on to pick up a Wood Pencil in Graphic Design at D&AD Awards 2026.

Really proud to share that AGI Open 2025 picked up a Wood Pencil and a Shortlist at D&AD, alongside a Gold Cube and Silver Cube at the Art Directors Club Awards this year.

AGI was already a dream project to work on, but getting to meet and work with so many talented people throughout it was probably my favourite part.

This project means way more to me than just the awards though. I still remember all the insane design sprints @_tientientien dragged @not.about.us @ange_linh and me into, all the goofy explorations with @hou.huynh , sleepless nights before submissions, production chaos, and the Rice team basically running nonstop during event week just trying to make everything work in time. Huge thanks to @ca_deleo and @joshuabreidenbach for trusting us and pushing things further.

The Mãi Chess by Chí-An De Leo (@ca_deleo) is inspired by the Bauhaus school and minimalism. Six iconic chess pieces are distinguished only by the orientation and placement of the slice, turning it into the most minimal chess set ever designed.

Mãi Chess is made from 100% up-cycled plastic waste.
