The central theme of "Prisoner" revolves around the artist's journey of resilience in the aftermath of his breakup. It was a relationship that he had invested considerable effort into building, one he truly cherished and held dear.
His guiding principle since then has been to preserve the remnants of that love, a commitment he continues to uphold to this day. This stands in stark contrast to contemporary relationships, where many individuals tend to move forward without looking back at the well-being of their former partners. Despite having alternatives, he opted for the more challenging path, going to great lengths to ease the transition for the other person.
Furthermore, "Prisoner" also sheds light on how people at times fabricate and embrace their own fictitious narratives to evade guilt and responsibility for their errors, striving to lead a guilt-free life. Occasionally, we willingly shoulder the responsibility for their actions.

Extremely excited to share that I’ve joined @cordeliacruises MV EMPRESS as a musician for a 6-month contract!

For the next six months, I’ll be travelling across several Indian ports and a few Asian countries. It’s been 15 days since I signed on, and the experience has already been absolutely enthralling.

I get to perform with a group of 10 incredibly talented musicians, supported by some amazing and helpful sound techs. We play for nearly 2,000 people every day, 2-3 times a day.

This is something I’ve always dreamed of — pursuing my passion for music, travelling the world while keeping my pockets safe.

Looking forward to this beautiful journey ahead. I’ll keep sharing my performances and travel updates here!

“I went alone, yet I was never truly alone.”

This will always be one of those days I’ll hold close to my heart, watching one of my idols, one of the reason i am an artist myself, perform live in front of me.

Running on barely two days of sleep, I took a six-hour early morning cab from Jim Corbett to Delhi and caught a flight straight to Mumbai. With just 90 minutes left before John was to arrive, I was almost certain I wouldn’t make it in time. But Mumbai had other plans for me.

Instead of booking a taxi, I quickly booked a two-wheeler fifteen minutes after checking into my hotel. My Rapido rider, Mr. Faaroque Ismail, was the perfect example of a true Mumbaikar. With his clever road tricks and an appetite to abuse other drivers in a sarcastic way, his street wisdom got me there two minutes before John stepped on stage. During the 90-minute ride, he spoke endlessly about differences of Mumbai with Delhi, and most importantly, Life, women and marriage.
Because of poor network, I couldn’t locate my friends at the venue, so I embraced the night on my own. With only 5% battery left and no return cabs available due to the crowd, I had to walk quite a distance just to reach a spot where I could book one. Repeating my hotel address in my head, I was racing against time. Finally, a taxi driver who initially refused to go to Santacruz agreed after I told him it was my first day back in Mumbai after ten long years.

And just like that, I fell in love with this city all over again. Tomorrow, I explore it solo. I’ve always had dreams attached to Mumbai, and tonight has reignited something within me - a quiet determination to finally turn some of those plans into reality.
