🏁 What an event from @virtualcyclingsg . From tough qualifying to redemption rounds, semis, and finals — every lap was a fight for the boys. 💥

💪 The day for the team started with @jovan13speed , he fought through crashes, multiple restarts, and pure chaos. But with perseverance, he held on with the pack of older boys and finished 4th in B Division. 🏁🔥#

😬 For the Pre-U cat, @vaauughn and @wafflecrisps11 We were holding our breath in every corner, praying for no incidents, as they move up the brackets on the most competitive category of the day! Maximum confidence from the riders, pushing to the edge every round . 🙏💨

🔥 @peaknpavement , was the last to start but he rode with flair and confidence from the start and never looked back. First in his category. 👑🏆

🧲 Shoutout to the @maxxis_service_center_sg / @tscyclesg for giving us the stickiest rubber when it mattered most :- The @maxxisbike Highroad SL - our winning formula 🏎️✨

🔧 More Than Just a Pressing Job!

This Fox CSU came in for a stanchion replacement, with Kashima coating flaking off due to oxidation.

The customer supplied a the @ndtuned stanchion, but corrosion inside the CSU meant additional machining and polishing were needed to ensure a smooth, proper fit.

🔩 The right tools, the right methods, and no rushing the job. Precision matters!

A little trip down memory lane. 🕰️🚵‍♂️

Meet the very first @nicolai.bikes Argon Hardtail that arrived in Singapore, more than two and a half decades ago!

Back at our sted for a full restoration, this old-school beauty is getting some much-needed love. From sourcing quality period-correct parts to replacing the worn-out drivetrain, even the fork has undergone a complete rebuild.

Now fitted with Continental slicks, this Argon is ready for a new chapter — transforming into a proper café runner, built for leisurely rides and simply enjoying bike life.

But what makes this bike truly special? Its history, the memories it carries, and the fact that it has remained under single ownership since day one. ❤️

Some bikes are more than just machines. They’re a part of our cycling history, and some things are simply worth keeping alive.

Ending the week with this @quickprobikes . 🔥

Factory Custom painted, ground-up build — and this one is extra special because it was built by @niz.moves , one of our part-timers and apprentice at the shop.

Over the past few months, he’s been picking up the skills, and this build is a great showcase of what he’s learnt. From sourcing the parts to putting everything together, he’s done it all himself. 🔧

And the best part? This is a budget-conscious build with plenty of components painstakingly sourced from Taobao, AliExpress and other online platforms.

Lots of colours, lots of interesting aftermarket parts, and plenty of lightweight options — you’ll probably recognise quite a few of them. 👀

But when it comes to the one thing we don’t compromise on…

We’re seeing more and more brands moving into the new generation of BMX racing wheels — wider inner widths, taller carbon rims and increased stiffness, while keeping weight down. ⚡️

This set is paired with a luminous translucent lime-green BMX racing hub 💚 and custom-built in-house!

Our young rider is already showing serious potential, with a supportive parent who wants the very best for him. 💪

So we built these wheels to handle everything coming their way — training, frequent racing in Malaysia, and now plenty of local sessions on Singapore’s BMX track. 🇸🇬🇲🇾

🔧 Nothing fancy. Just good old suspension maintenance. 🦊

This FOX fork came in for a basic service and a full hardware inspection. It had a slight stuck-down issue on the air damper shaft, so we stripped it down, refreshed the oil, replaced the seals and rubbers, and checked all moving parts to make sure everything was within tolerance.

Back on the trails and ready for another season. 🚵‍♂️💨

🇸🇬 But here’s something important about suspension servicing in Singapore:

We don’t have an off-season or winter. We’re riding year-round, often with much more riding than riders in seasonal countries.

Add our dry, wet and muddy conditions, and the typical “once-a-year” service interval may not be enough.

Our general recommendation:
🔧 Basic service / inspection: every 3–6 months
🛠️ Major overhaul: every 6–12 months

Of course, it all depends on how much and how hard you ride.

🏁 @ariffjufri NEW RACE WEAPON ⚡️

With the World Pump Track Series Qualifier in Miri, East Malaysia just around the corner, Arif’s new frame arrived right before his flight. 🇲🇾

So we scrambled to get this custom-built race machine together — including a fresh pair of in-house built @boxbmx carbon wheels, built specifically around his riding style and racing needs. 🔧🔥

Some parts were transferred from his previous bike, with a quick build, quick test ride and then… straight to Miri! ✈️💨

And yes — this is the first one in Singapore! 🇸🇬
