Third day in Kyoto
Had fun at the temple
Ate an egg at the 7-eleven
Too many influencers
Wanted to kick a phone in the river
But I didn’t
Took a pic of the payphone
Yeah they still got payphones
It costs a dollar a minute
The cherry blossoms are blooming
We’re having the best time
And I don’t need to tell you but
I’m gonna love you
forever
If you don’t beat me to it
Dreaming of tonkatsu
I wanted to see the world
So we flew over the ocean
And held hands on the subway

How many times have I dreamed of Kyoto?
The temples, the history, the cherry blossoms…
and yet-
the sloth toilet paper got the lead photo 😆

Why did I stop posting in-feed? Why did everything become so curated? The best parts of social media (for me) is that it can be a diary with my friends - of sorts. But then somehow we got all caught up in the perfect shot for the perfect post with the perfect caption, with the background thought, “will this get a lot of likes?”

So f that. I brought a screen-free digital camera with me on our 12day trip to 🇯🇵 and plan to post everyday. For the memories, without the DSLR or curation. Anyways, here’s Day ONE: OSAKA from my little camera’s POV

Btw what is a host club???
