# 1 destination on my bucket list ✅
Just a little north-town baby who ate Top Ramen daily — got to visit Japan with chopsticks in hand and eat authentic Ramen and sushi all over Tokyo and Osaka. 🇯🇵

Shout out to the late great Anthony Bourdain for instilling the travel bug in me at a young age and showing me that It’s possible to go somewhere and not know the language, make a friend over a meal, and create an experience. Special thanks to the cinematic inspirations: Lost In Translation, Perfect Days, and Drive My Car. Japan was indeed — a movie.
Thank God for getting me there and back without adding on any weight for all that I ate.

Oh, and it’s my birthday too. “Leo szn” and all that other good stuff involving signs… also, take this post as a sign to get out and see the world. Go book that trip you’ve been dreaming of. Don’t wait for anyone or “the right time” to create new memories. The time is now. taken in Tokyo, Japan by @thisisdec

Ludacris once dropped a line about Bangkok that I can’t for the life of me remember—guess that’s my brain clocking out for the year. Anyway, 2024 was a wild ride full of firsts and fresh experiences. Japan twice and then Bangkok. Didn’t see that coming. Definitely had more ups than downs, and honestly, I can’t even recall shedding a tear (unless I’m blocking it out, which… fair). Here’s to 2025 bringing even more laughs, lessons, and, who knows, maybe finally remembering that Bangkok lyric @ludacris said. taken in Bangkok, Thailand by @thisisdec
