🪷ॐ दुं दुर्गायै नमः॥🪷

দুর্গাপুজো মানেই— ইতিহাসের অলিন্দে দেবীর পদধ্বনি আর তা যদি শহর কলকাতার হয় তবে বনেদিয়ানার প্রতিটি ভাঁজে মিশে থাকা এক টুকরো আবেগ। এ শহরের পুজোয় দেবী শুধু পূজিতা নন, তিনি শিল্প, ঐতিহ্য আর আভিজাত্যের এক চিরন্তন উপাখ্যান।

सर्वमङ्गलमाङ्गल्ये शिवे सर्वार्थसाधिके।
शरण्ये त्र्यम्बके गौरि नारायणि नमोऽस्तु ते॥

জোড়াসাঁকোয় গয়নার ঝলক, কুমোরটুলিতে ভোগের সুবাস, শোভাবাজারে নিশিজাগা রাজকীয় আয়োজন— এভাবেই তো মা দুর্গাকে ঘিরে গড়ে উঠেছে পুরোনো কলকাতার অমলিন উপাখ্যান। 🪷

या देवी सर्वभूतेषु मातृरूपेण संस्थिता।
नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः॥

রুদ্ররূপের বদলে এবার না হয় মায়াবী মুখেই ধরা দিক আমার আঁকা মা “উমা”- তাঁর মায়াবী মুখশ্রীর আরাধনা। 🔱✨

I can’t put into words how much I love and admire @zubeen.garg . ❤️

We all know how deeply loved he is in Assam, Bengal, and across the Northeast. Since childhood, I have grown up listening to so many of his Bengali songs. And here in North Bengal, his music has always been a part of our celebrations, gatherings, and everyday emotions.

“Ukha Ukha Siriser” holds a special place in the hearts of people across North Bengal and has a fanbase of its own. He also beautifully lent his voice to Cooch Behar and Goalparia Koch Rajbanshi songs, making his music feel even closer to home.

For us, Zubeen Da was never just a singer. He was an emotion.♥️

Through this silhouette sketch, I’m trying to pay my humble tribute to a legendary voice and an artist who touched countless hearts across borders, languages, and generations.

This special post is dedicated to Zubeen Da and to all his fans and my friends from Assam and the Northeast. ❤️
