i think whimsy is what naturally returns when we stop living entirely in survival mode and allow ourselves to be touched by existence again.

episode one of return to whimsy 🌿

💖🪷✨magic is the moment everything inside of you agrees💫🌸💖

your thoughts⛈️
your words🌬️
your energy🌀
your actions🤸🏼‍♀️

and prayer🙏

is the devotion to that alignment.

🎚️i believe. i believe. i believe. that i am a child of God and i have faith. no matter the timing, the why, the how, the who, to all of my unanswered curiosities and questions about this life. i’m set free because of supreme being God, i’m alive, i’m at peace, i’m happily available to continue showing up for my purpose, no matter what. i believe that everything is working out for my highest good always. amen. 🕊️

october has been so sweet to meeeee. somethin about the leaves changing, the chilly air, having nowhere in particular to be and just getting to experience MY lil life has me feeling xtra jucie lately!! i’ve been thinking about how much life opens up when you start making yourself the main event lol genuinely just curating my own little world, liking what i like, going where i wanna go, talking to strangers, experiencing miracles DAILY, making friends everywhere, noticing the beauty in every moment. i’ve felt so connected to God and all of creation and so content just being a participant in this weird lil existence..not waiting for anything in particular, not needing everything to be witnessed, just being and it’s funny how much more room there is for life to surprise you when you’re not busy trying to make it look a certain way or fit it into someone else’s world. i think there’s something really beautiful n magical about becoming so at home in yourself that what finds you can actually meet the real you. anywayyyy having a very good time being a person on this planet obv hehe. happy fall little loves, go breathe in some of this crisp fall air!!!!

dear diary✍🏼
a part of me is longing for a life that feels a little more sacred.

to slow down enough to feel the changing of the seasons. to let things matter. to grieve what leaves, celebrate what arrives and stop feeling ashamed of the full spectrum of what it means to be alive.

i want to build a life rooted in connection, where the things i love are things i tend to. where beauty isn’t something i consume but something i actively participate in. where i make room for both the impermanence of things and the joy and blessing of having them at all.

i want to feel more at home here. 🍎🍁🍏🍂 by @thisisjucie

grief diaries :: learning to stay soft without letting pain harden me

i think i’m finally learning that i can let life break my heart wide open without making a home out of the heartbreak.

i can feel it all. make sad art. tell the story. let it move through me without needing to keep identifying with the person i was when it hurt.

for so long, i think i mistook carrying the pain for honoring what happened. but i can honor what i’ve been through without continuing to suffer for it.

i don’t want to close my heart to protect it. i want to let everything i’ve experienced teach me how to love myself more deeply. with more discernment, more tenderness and less willingness to abandon myself.

that chapter has ended because i’m allowed to stop living inside it.

here’s to a new life. one where my heart is still soft, my boundaries are wiser and my love has somewhere beautiful to go.

⋆˙⟡ 30 ⟡⋆˙

i came to the azores alone to celebrate my birthday. i started thinking about how wildly different my life looks from the one i imagined when i was younger.

i don’t think i realized how much could change in a decade.

how many versions of me i’d become.
how many lives i’d try on.
how many times i’d have to let something end before i understood what it was making room for.

oh lawdy lil j,
we really did come a long way.

here’s to whatever comes next…

& THE BEST IS YET TO COME!

an immersive sound bath filled with live looping, sensory play, guided visualization, surprises and enough silliness to awaken your senses and inner child.

thirsty?

here’s some juice 🧃 by @thisisjucie

the sea told me
you can begin again here.

leave the heavy things with me,
she said.
you don’t have to carry them anymore.

you have permission to become someone new.

and please,
don’t mistake your softness for weakness.

it is the most precious thing about you.

so i laid there
and let the waves wash over me
until there was nothing left to hold
but myself.
