Made in DC small businesses showed up and showed out at the Vendor Meet-Up at Civic on 8th! A huge thank you to owner Rhonda Foxx for generously hosting and creating such a warm, welcoming space for our entrepreneurs.

And to everyone who came out to support the vendors — thank you! Your energy, encouragement, and commitment to DC’s makers and creators make all the difference.

What a beautiful way to begin. ❤️✨

Yesterday, we officially launched the Made in DC Retail Residency at Steadfast Supply, and we’re still taking in what a special day it was.

This residency was created to give local Made in DC businesses the opportunity to bring their products into a real retail environment, connect with new customers, gain hands-on retail experience, and continue growing their brands — and we’re incredibly proud to be part of making that happen.

A huge thank you to Made in DC and the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD) for trusting Steadfast Supply to bring this residency to life and for continuing to invest in DC’s creative and small-business community.

And to our participating makers and brands: thank you for saying yes. ❤️ Thank you for trusting us with your work, showing up, sharing your stories, and bringing so much creativity and energy into our space. This residency exists because of you.

Thank you as well to everyone who joined us for the launch, shopped, met the makers, celebrated with us, and showed these businesses what supporting local can look like.

And we’re just getting started. ✨
