Okay this will be the last live song I upload for a while but this one is called When You Say So. It’s a song I wrote years ago on garage band and it was like an 80’s synth pop song. Now I play it acoustically and works surprisingly well. Thanks x #singer #songwriter #song #original #music by @thisismaxwilliams

These last few shows have been amazing. This solo stuff I’ve been playing has been sitting around for a while gathering dust. Now finally playing them live and receiving such positive reactions has actually been awesome. I didn’t expect it really.

So just a thank you post to say…. THANKS.

Suppose I best get into a studio and maybe release my debut?

For about the last year I haven’t really played any shows. I’ve looked at my guitar and felt nothing, not wanting to pick it up and play anything. It’s actually been a really tough time because when I don’t have music, sometimes life feels a bit aimless.

Last night at @lordnelsonhastings completely shifted everything in me. @woodpigmusic thank you so much for having me on. Your band is great and your fans are wonderful and incredibly welcoming of my songs.

Big up mr @wezo_brown for his percussion 🥁

Thank you thank you thank you for helping me find that spark again ⚡️

NEXT UP. 25TH AND 26TH SEPTEMBER SUPPORTING @kidkapichi AT @thepipercalls … Friday is SOLD OUT but Saturday has the last few tix remaining.. don’t hang about. Link in bio.

See ya at the next one.
