I guess I’m really about to be spilling my guts… 🩸🖤Not to get all Dear Diary 📖 on y’all… but I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting 🪞. And if you know me, you know I don’t always open up like this.Lately, I’ve been overwhelmed — not by stress, but by joy 🌅. Life is finally starting to bloom 🌸 in ways I used to only pray for 🙏🏾. It feels like just yesterday I was in a dark place 🌑, surrounded by doubt, distractions, and voices telling me I couldn’t do it. But somehow, by grace ✨, by the strength within me 💪🏾, and by the God in me 🕊️… I made it through.I’ve survived so much — a divorce 💔, abusive relationships 🚫, feeling unloved by the very people I wanted acceptance from. I’ve battled depression 🫥, anxiety 😵‍💫, ADHD 🧠, and the heavy weight of failure. I struggled with loving myself ❤️‍🩹 and accepting my sexuality 🏳️‍🌈, especially when I felt criticized and rejected by my own family. But still, I’m here. Still singing 🎤. Still standing 🕯️. Still spilling my guts.And now, I’m giving myself the gift I always dreamed of:Happy birthday, baby Meechi — June 8 🎂🖤This year, I’m celebrating healing, freedom, and finally finishing something that saved me.I’m thankful 🙌🏾.For healing — my mother is cancer-free 🎗️💪🏾.For opportunity — being on The Voice 🎶 and now releasing my first ever EP 💿.For growth — pushing through everything that tried to break me and turning it into art 🎨.This EP means the world to me.
