Skipping town and returning home are central themes on Crumbs on the Road to Hell. On “PLM”, the narrator returns to find a string of old acquaintances going through hard times. In a bombastic series of surreal verses, the tension builds and Trask bursts “These politicians, lovin’ money, leaving crumbs on the road to hell”
