We are all History💖 by @thisismytauruslife

Every generation has their trials and tribulations. Some people can heal, some people stay forever victims…when I saw my mother as an inherently flawed human I was able to give grace and forgiveness. This doesnt mean my past hurts are forgotten, but they are forgiven. Doing the best with what we have, what we know, and what we can do better is the truest path to healing. You cannot heal your childhood wounds expecting people to apologize for being who they were, when they were, and the circumstances at that point in time. You cannot expect to heal your adult wounds without addressing your participation in the behaviors. #LifeIsShort #LifeIsGood #Breathe #Affirm
