Human connection is a gift, and making those connections is a blessing.

I attended Chef Sanza’s @yeovilledinnerclub pop-up in Cape Town earlier this year, still dreaming about his cassava leaves and storytelling 7 months later.

Two weeks ago, I met Alison at @localmagicwisdom - the culinary content studio she’s been building with her heart and hands (and has the power tools to prove it) on Historic Peters Street. We got connected about hosting a game night with @thisisplotshift - the game I created in SA. So I showed it in action…at that dinner in Cape Town.

“We should do something like that here.” We both agree.

Then a week ago, I ran into Sanza at @hitpatlanta
I don’t believe in coincidences. I connected the dots, and just like watercolors, they bloomed.

What happened around that table felt significant. Substantial in a way you often can’t see while you’re living inside the moment.

The pan-African flavors. The new friendships. The energy that kept the conversations going til morning. If you were there, you’re not forgetting this one. It was a reminder of what community and connection feels like.

Thank you Damola and @bayabgin for introducing us to the baobab plant. We created a saffron pineapple spritzer, and just like its name, it gave us life.

Thank you to everyone in the room. The magic was built from community. This is Atlanta at its finest. The evolution of legacy.

So were you there, or are you experiencing FOMO? Tap in and leave a memory of your favorite bite. #atlantainfluenceseverything taken in Local Magic by @thisisplotshift

We open at 7 pm with some games, art, conversation, and as always, good people that you just have to meet. @thisisplotshift @x.a.morton @rensworkdotcomshop @1almightyzion taken in Peters Street by @thisisplotshift

Great day for PLOT SHIFT at @poncecitymarket thanks to @mastercard incredibly insightful Mastercard Small Business Summit yesterday!

Thanks as always to @riceatlanta for bringing stellar content to entrepreneurs and convening the dopest community.

For me as The Restoration Refugee, small business means restoration. What’s it mean to you?

Don’t forget to support small business like @thisisplotshift at the @atlloveslocal market this Sunday at @wildheavenwestend

Started as strangers, left with a new group chat. 🍷

That’s the side effect of pulling a card and actually being real. We brought PLOT SHIFT to @vin.atl and witnessed a vibe shift: people came for the pour and stayed for the SHIFT.

The “I’m only staying for one” crowd ended up shutting it down, and the solo fliers left with new contacts.

That’s the SHIFT.

It’s what happens when you get the green light to skip the small talk.

Thank you to @leadprintfinishing — the dream team in SA who brought my dream to life and @iamsougo for inspiring me to do it (and curating the dope playlist). 💗

If you were there, you know the energy. Drop a 🖤.

If you missed out, hit the link in bio to find out how you can PLOT SHIFT.

Some nights are networking.
Some nights are small talk.
This night is neither.

SHIFT HAPPENS is where strangers become friends, laughter becomes medicine, and one card can change the whole energy of the room.

Join us for a free community night of wine, amapiano, good people, and PLOT SHIFT designed to help you regulate, connect, play, and leave lighter than you came.

Come solo. Bring a friend. Bring your burnt-out coworker. Bring your beautiful self.

🗓️ Wed, Apr 29
⏰ 5:30–8PM
📍 Vin ATL
🎟️ Free tickets on Eventbrite (link in bio / QR on flyer)

Pull a card. Shift the vibe.

Neva Eva thought the PLOT SHIFT debut at Georgia’s gold dome would be @officialtrillville pulling cards.

Thanks to my brother @bellforus for the resolution that made it happen. And @lensmeyoureyes for capturing the magic ✨

What it is yo, what’s up? Pull a card and shift ya whole vibe.
