I wanted this table to feel like a cookout, a supper club, and an art installation all at once.

Strawberry Fanta glazed ribs. Carolina Gold chicken. Watermelon arugula salad with cornbread crumble, praline pecans and raspberry champagne vinaigrette. Grilled corn. Baked beans. Deviled eggs. Red drink. Fresh flowers. Watermelon galore.

What feels like yet another ending is actually a reroute. The kind that strips away titles, comfort, and certainty just to hand you back yourself. The kind that trades burnout for burn marks, meetings for mise en place, and a cubicle for creativity you forgot you had.

You’ll question it. You’ll side-eye the timing, the money, the audacity of starting over. But you’ll also wake up excited again (even if it’s 4am 😅). You’ll learn discipline in a new way. You’ll fall in love with learning, with your hands, with process.

On the other side of the fear is purpose and a version of you that finally feels aligned. by @thisisrouxtang
