This is GORDAN my claymation tribute to the legendary Gordon Parks.

His photographs didn’t just document history.
They changed it.

As a creator, I wanted to imagine what it would feel like if his world came to life one frame at a time.

Every scene in this film is a thank you to an artist whose work continues to inspire generations.

Watch the full film now.

21 DAYS. 21 LESSONS

9. HOPE.

I learned that hope matters the most when everything around me feels like it’s falling apart.

There were moments when life felt chaotic.
Problems were coming from different directions.
Things felt uncertain. And it would have been easy to focus only on what was going wrong.

But I kept holding on to hope.

I kept believing that God was still working…even when I couldn’t see how everything was going to come together.

Then I got one small victory.

It may not have fixed everything but it gave me something I desperately needed proof!

Proof that things could change.
Proof that my prayers weren’t pointless.
Proof that one good moment can remind you not to give up during a bad season.

That small victory showed me the power of hope.

Sometimes God doesn’t change everything at once.

Sometimes He gives you just enough light to remind you that the darkness won’t last forever.

This fast taught me that hope isn’t believing nothing bad will happen.

Hope is believing that even while everything around me is chaotic God can still give me a reason to keep going. #createeveryday #21dayfix by @thisistwizz

8. LOOK FOR THE GOOD IN THE BAD.

I learned that every bad season still has something to teach me.

The rain may ruin the day I planned but it can still water something that needs to grow.

This fast taught me to stop looking at every hardship as punishment.

I’m learning that I may not be able to control the weather but I can control what I choose to see in it.

Instead of only asking, “Why is this happening to me?”

I’m learning to ask, “What is this trying to teach me?”

The storm can be real and the blessing can be real at the same time. #createeveryday #21dayfix by @thisistwizz
