This one’s for the little Jakun boy who came home crying.

Pernah kena panggil, “Oi! Jakun!”
Pernah kena ejek sebab sumpit.
Pernah kena left out from school things sebab I wasn’t “Malay enough” for them.

But I still remember my English teacher, Ms Wong, telling me:

“Bahari, water off a duck’s back.”

Today, I wear this with pride.

Not because I’m trying to prove that I’m different.

But because I finally understand that being different was never something I needed to be ashamed of.

Selamat Hari Orang Asal. 🤎

Ayah, all I have are fragments of memories of me and u, and this old photo from my scrapbook.

Things would’ve been different if you were still here. Parut luka mungkin dah lama, tapi sakitnya masih terasa.

I miss you, Ayah. ❤️

One chapter closes…On to the next (inshaAllah maybe soon).

Just turning the page, not the whole book. iQIYI - it's been reel.

No one truly sees the battles I fight—but I know there are people who love me and believe in me.
I’ve learned that adulting is tough. That sometimes, I’ll be overlooked, even forgotten. And that it’s okay to walk alone.

Still, I’m sailing through this 4-series ship like a boss.

Happy 42nd, Barry. I love you, Barry.

One last raya open house before I dip.
Good food, good vibes, and the best people.
It hits different when you know it’s the last. Bak kata @sitiputriismail - Kalau rindu, call lah 😉
