"This is Youngstown" rolls on. I had the distinct pleasure to meet and photograph as well as learn some fascinating history from this gentleman. Ed Romero, to my knowledge, was the city of Youngstowns first and only Hispanic Law Director. His lovely wife is retiring judge Cheryl L. Waite. It was a pleasure to sit and talk with them today. Perhaps the most fascinating history I learned from Ed today was that his father, Rafael Romero, was the first Puerto Rican living in Youngstown. by @thisisyoungstown

Always a great time at the Hispanic heritage celebration. A wonderful setting at the McDonough Museum of Art at Youngstown State University today.
So many people that have become friends and part of this project. Incredible food and drink and the dancers representing Hispanic cultures from around the globe were a highlight to photograph. A big thank you to Paulina Montaldo for interviewing me and letting me photograph her to be part of this work.
