There’s sooo much do learn, no one has learned it all yet. Don’t sweat it, even if God calls you begin something new, take a step of faith in to something you’ve never done/seen done before, to lead .. you will be called by him but you will also still be learning. That’s okay and it should be that way,

Okayyy this was actually GOOD 🍋🤭 I grabbed this lemonade from @wholefoods and it was so light & refreshing.

🍋 700mg of electrolytes
🍋 Magnesium
🍋 Vitamins + adaptogens
🍋 Only 5g of sugar

And somehow it doesn’t taste like a “healthy drink” at all! It literally tastes like homemade lemonade 🍋

Definitely grabbing this again.

Mario has been asking me to make him banana pudding for a little over a week now 🍌

I decided to add some protein in there too, being that he’s a personal trainer and we like to try healthier recipes before going for the norm.

It came out thick but lightttt, super creamy, banana-vanilla-y, with a cloud-like feel. I’m actually really happy with how this turned out 🥹

I think we locked in on one of those recipes where we don’t have to go super unhealthy for it to taste good. HE LOVED IT, so I think we’ve found a recipe to keep 🤍

What I used:
🍌 Organic bananas
🥣 FAGE 5% Greek yogurt
🤍 Chobani 20g High Protein yogurt
🍌 Jell-O banana pudding mix
🥛 Sweetened condensed milk
🍦 Vanilla extract
🍪 Vanilla wafers
✨ Cinnamon granola

For the crumble, I blended the vanilla wafers and cinnamon granola together 🤍

You’ll also need:
🥣 Mixing bowl + electric hand mixer (pudding)
✨ Blender or food processor (crumbs)

Layer everything together and let it chill in the refrigerator 🎀

A simple but rich dessert made with love. Save this for later 😍

Guyssss since last year I’ve wanted to come here, and today was finally the dayyy!! It was everything I dreamed it would be 🥹

The service was amazing, there are like SEVEN different seating sections 😭, Every time we walked by another one I was like, “Wait… I wanna sit there too!” 😂 , but I can’t so we’ll just come back again at night never time!

From the waterfront views to all the different vibes throughout the restaurant, you could have a completely different experience every time you visit because of how it’s structured!

This is a very classy restaurant, but it also gives, FUN! 🤍 All my girly bubbles were just popping out 🥰🥰🥰. It’s the perfect mix of beautiful, relaxed, and lively, get dressed with your man or girls and feel/be over the top.

I have zero complaints. 😭 The only thing we’re doing differently next time is coming back at night because I NEED to see this place with all the twinkle lights. Ahhhhh! ✨🥹.

This is one of those places where you don’t just come for the food… you come for the atmosphere, the views, and to actually enjoy your time. Another staycation get-away “mini vacation” restaurant without having to book a flight. 🌴🤍

Safe to say… we’ll definitely be back. 🥹🌊

Another stop on our Instagram Restaurant World Tour 🌎🍽️ and this one was extra special because we celebrated our anniversary at Kokomos 🥹🤍

And y’all… who would have known this little tropical getaway was right here in Connecticut?! 😭🌴🌊 Kokomo’s is definitely in my TOP 3 favorite restaurants we’ve visited so far. The atmosphere, the water, the fire pits, the food, the service….. it really feels like you left Connecticut for a few hours 😭. And the workers were SO nice, which always makes an experience 10x better! 🥹

This isn’t just a “go eat and go home” type of restaurant either. My suggestion? Bring your beach stuff and make a DAY out of it! 👙☀️🌊!!! Because you can get in the, tan, or nap a bit and then just jump in the water . It’s honestly the total package for a little staycation getaway feel without actually having to book a flight. 😂✈️

Fun fact: they have private cabanas you can rent for around $400! Nowwww… we could not afford that part of the experience this time around 😂😂😂 BUT maybe next time because splitting one with a group of friends?! YESSSS. 👀 I can already see the group trip happeningggg. 😂🌴

If you’re in Connecticut and looking for a restaurant that feels like an EXPERIENCE, add this one to your summer list. Anniversary date, girls’ day, couples’ outing, birthday, or just because you need to pretend you’re on vacation for the day. 😂🤍 Kokomo’s understood the assignment!

Have you ever had an experience so impactful that you almost don’t have words…? 🔥

A reel couldn’t describe 1% of what my husband and I received this weekend. The That Girl Conference is a conference my husband invests in me and our marriage every year. I love you, baby. You’re ThatGuy for sure @mjjj_914 😩❤️🤏🏽

Your life isn’t casual. This walk isn’t a casual thing you just live, no matter how casual it looks on a day to day. Do what God asks you to do 🩷. How can we be so random with our steps when God calls our steps ordered? Nothing is random, and we can’t treat our lives like slot machines. We have a Father with a blueprint and a plan 🔥 #identity

That Girl Conference felt like the Upper Room… every day, back to back, and it was exactly the mindset shift and reset I needed. Thank You, Jesus!! 🙌🏽❤️

DCC is like my home away from home 🩷. If you’re looking for a Holy Spirit-filled church in the Mississippi/Tennessee area, don’t count yourself out.

Prophetess and Apostle, thank you for pouring into my husband and I. Not just this year, but all THREE years. With all your busyness you find time… God bless you 🥹

To my generation, my heart is weeping, and I’m praying for us ✝️🙌🏽😩. We trade too much. We’re quick to trade. It reminds me of Esau, who sold his inheritance for a bowl of soup 🍲. People can dangle things in front of us, and we take the bait. We don’t wait, pray, and get an answer. We just do stuff.

Waiting on the Lord seems so ancient, but it’s foundational ❤️. In the last days, we’re going to need to wait on Him. He can make every trap clear and every promise clear.

We’ve got to die enough to our flesh to see temptation like Jesus did in Matthew 4 and resist it. It is possible! We aren’t helpless. We are helped by the Ultimate Helper! 🙌🏽🔥

I pray the Lord continues to sharpen us, mature our character, deepen our surrender, and amplify the truth in our mouths. Jesus, have Your way. Fill Your people 🙌🏽❤️

A random Friday after a tough day, God came through with this one 😊🔥

We clicked somewhere on a whimmmmm and ended up at Soul Bowls (@soulbowls).

We genuinely can’t even rate it because it was that good. Think homemade, flavorful, cooked with THAT GOOD ARM, soul food with a little kick of Jamaican 😭🔥 (and I’m Jamaican, so when I say it was gooooodddd… 👀)

Normally when we eat this kind of food, I feel bloated and way too full, like I could fall asleep right after 😭 But I didn’t feel that way at allllll. I don’t know if it was the right portions, the quality of the food, or both, but this was perfect for an after church munch, comfort food, a date, or just a day you donttttt have it in you to cook dinner.

We went back TWO DAYS IN A ROW ACTUALLY LOLLLLL 😭

Definitely one of those places we’ll be going to againnnn, beat us there.
