that itch to do the bare minimum because the conditions are not favourable or someone is clearly taking advantage of you, IGNORE IT 👀

at the end of the day, what will be said of the work you do? because when your outcomes are on the table, nobody is going to ask you to come explain yourself, it will just be said that that is the quality of your work.

excellence is not conditional!

it does not mean you should ignore what is wrong or stay silent when something needs to change. but just refuse to let someone else’s attitude or a difficult situation determine the quality of what you bring.

ultimately, you are responsible for how you show up.

I’ve worked in several difficult and very annoying situations and this mindset has helped me stay committed to my own end of the bargain. I hope it helps you too 🙂 by @thismarthaaa

before I got married, I used to say that I didn’t want work or any other pursuit to take so much of my time that I barely had anything left for my family… and now I look around and I’m like 🥹

not like parenting a toddler makes it any more dreamy but yeah it happened 😄 and I really love it here (most of the times 👀)

I don’t know what the next season of my life will look like. maybe it will require me to leave the house more or it will take me somewhere else. my work could even become completely different.

but right now, I love this 😁 by @thismarthaaa

and so it begins 🥹 at the beginning of this year, sending my daughter to school was not on my list. the plan was to keep homeschooling for as long as it remained sustainable for us…

and then this year happened 😅
it has been a lot and we are still very much in the middle of the craziness, but even here, God has been present to help.

randomly, a school name came up in a conversation and we looked it up. before I knew it, we were discussing “how do we make this happen by September?”

it was not an easy decision o because there was so much we could have done with the resources. even at the very last minute, I still had to take it back to God.

but here we are 😌 and while I am excited for this new chapter and all that it will bring, this day means so much more to me than just her first day of school. it is a testimony. this is one of my stones of remembrance from this year.
