Them days I’m super busy and he needs to occupy himself, so he pulls out the most random things and plays for hours… this was one of those days 🙌🏼 I love the way his mind works using the number counting planks as beds for his figurine’s and the “stairway house” he randomly built 😆😍 all while wearing his brothers graffiti tshirt he owned when he was little 🤣 apparently I couldn’t get rid of this one 🫠🤣🥰 #playroom #playtime #openendedtoys #openendedplay #home by @thismummashome

There is definitely something special about watching my babies create and play 😍👏🏼Both Aria and Johnny set up this epic dinosaur play with rivers made from silks and fires made with grapat pieces. And let’s not forget all the Bumbu pieces that elevated the whole scene. Even Rex made an appearance 😆 they played for hours, then daddy came home and Johnny made him and Jack play some more 🤣 This was a two day event because Johnny wouldn’t let me pack it up. Let’s take a moment to appreciate art! This is our stunning weather chart from @bloomia_y.a showing us all the types of weather this world has to offer. The watercolor illustrations are detailed, resourceful and beautifully executed. Yuliia, the gorgeous artist, uses precise brushstrokes to create realistic and delicate weather scenes, giving off a calm and timeless piece. Yesterday, Johnny was able to identify all the weather conditions and match them with our @grimmswoodentoys weather set and large Grimm’s rainbow. He was able to name each weather condition and knew that sunshine and rain create a rainbow. Tell me I’m not the only one who took advantage of the winters sunshine today?!!! Sunshine through our front windows only meant one thing… @my_little_creator lucites time 😍🌈The boys stacked our lucites, not for a fancy big build, but to fully appreciate that sunshine through each of the blocks. Johnny got a white piece of paper to see the rainbow colors stand out. He even wanted “tattoos” so he laid down into a position where the lucites shone onto his skin giving him, what he called it, “colorful rainbow skin like a skittle” 🤣 If the sun could continue shining through our windows, we would greatly appreciate it please and thank you 🙊🌞If you are going to finally buy those lucites you’ve been longing for or even expand your collection, use mama10 for a cheeky discount 😍🌈#sunshine #openendedplay #openendedtoys #playtime #rainbow by @thismummashome

My 12yo STEM Captain created this ball run using our @connetix_tiles ball run kit from @myplayroom_official along with our @stapelstein.original stones and @grimmsaustralia blocks/boards. The dedication was real, lots of trial and error and a bucket load of patience. Them random moments when you need your child to play alone but they still want to be close by 😆🥰 bringing the toys out into the living area where he can still see me but build away. Ever since getting these @grimmswoodentoys toys he has been LOVING the builds. This one was played with for hours while a baked away. Them beautiful builds with stunning lucites from @my_little_creator and @grimmswoodentoys natural blocks. Every toy room and child needs lucites in their life. The colors of our lucites are vibrant and bright especially amongst the natural wooden blocks. Johnny and I enjoyed putting this, he calls it, “rainbow mansion,” together. Using a few of My Little Creator’s stunning sets such as Creators Cross of Love, Pillars of Light set, Round glitter boards, Kingdom coins set, Gems, and Lucite Rainbow Stacking along with the Grimms Stairway set, we were able to create a beautiful build. Open-ended play is by far my favorite type of play | For a young child to be able to create and use their imagination is truly amazing to watch. I enjoy seeing Johnny take the lead in his play, exploring ideas and creating his own experiences without being limited by specific instructions or outcomes.
